Abstract
Description
本願は、2013年3月14日付けで提出された米国仮特許出願第61/782,394号の優先権及び利益を主張し、その開示は全体をここに引用して援用する。
本特許文書は概してマットレスシステムに関し、より詳細には、限定する訳ではないが膨張式エアマットレスシステムに関する。
これらコマンドは制御装置312、314、又は316の何れかから伝送され、中央制御装置302で受信できる。中央制御装置302はこのコマンドを処理して、受信されたコマンドを送る適切な構成要素を特定できる。例えば、制御装置312、314、又は316の何れかを介して送信された各コマンドは、そのコマンドがどの構成要素のためのものかを示すヘッダ又は他のメタデータを含むことができる。これにより、中央制御装置302は、中央制御装置302のネットワークインターフェースを介してこのコマンドを適切な構成要素に伝送できる。
図4は、コンピュータシステム400という例示的形式の機械のブロック図であり、この内部では、本明細書で記載する方法の1つ又は複数をこの機械に行わせるための命令が実行される。代替的な実施形態では、この機械は独立型装置として動作するが、他の機械に接続(例えば、ネットワーク接続)されていてもよい。ネットワーク接続された導入例では、この機械はサーバ/クライアントネットワーク環境におけるサーバ又はクライアントマシンとして動作でき、或いはピアツーピア(又は分散型)ネットワーク環境におけるピアマシンとして動作できる。この機械は、パーソナルコンピュータ(PC)、タブレットPC、セットトップボックス(STB)、携帯型情報端末(PDA)、携帯電話、ウェブアプライアンス、ネットワークルータ、スイッチ若しくはブリッジ、又はその機械が行うべき動作を指定する命令(順次又はそれ以外の)を実行できる任意の機械でよい。さらに、単一の機械のみを例示したが、「機械」という用語は、本明細書で説明する1つ又は複数の方法を実行するための一組の(又は複数組の)命令を個別又は共同で実行する複数機械の任意収集体を含むものとも解釈すべきである。
ディスクドライブユニット416は機械可読媒体422を含み、その媒体では、本明細書で説明する1つ又は複数の方法又は機能を実現し又はそれらに利用される1つ又は複数の組の命令及びデータ構造(例えばソフトウェア)424が格納されている。命令424は、機械可読媒体を構成するコンピュータシステム400、主記憶装置404、及びプロセッサ402によるその命令の実行時に、主記憶装置404及び/又はプロセッサ402内に完全に又は少なくとも部分的に常駐できる。
さらに、命令424は、伝送媒体を用いて通信ネットワーク426を介して伝送又は受信できる。命令424は、ネットワークインターフェース装置420及び多くの周知の転送プロトコル(例えばHTTP)の何れかを使用して伝送すればよい。通信ネットワークの例には、ローカルエリアネットワーク(「LAN」)、ワイドエリアネットワーク(「WAN」)、インターネット、携帯電話ネットワーク、普通の電話サービス(POTS)ネットワーク、及び無線データネットワーク(例えば、WiFi及びWiMaxネットワーク)が含まれる。「伝送媒体」という用語は、機械により実行される命令を格納、符号化、又は保持可能な無形媒体を含み、そうしたソフトウェアの通信を促進するためのデジタル若しくはアナログ通信信号又は他の無形媒体を含むものと理解すべきである。
上述の技法に加え、本開示は、システムアーキテクチャ300のユーザの様々な側面を検出する技法に関する。例えば、後に詳述するように、ユーザのいびきは、本開示に記載された様々な技法を用いて検出できる。
図7は、ユーザがいびきをかいていることを検出すると、1つ又は複数の調節を開始する例示的な方法(700)を示すフローチャートである。図7では、中央制御装置302は、ユーザがいびきをかいているかどうかを判断する命令を実行する(702)。様々な例には、生体計測パラメータの分析に基づいた又は音波に基づいたいびきの検出が含まれるが、それらに限定されない。ユーザのいびきが検出されると、システムアーキテクチャ300及び特に中央制御装置302は、睡眠環境及び/又はベッド301に対して1つ又は複数の調節が施されるようにする命令を実行できる(704)。これら様々な変更の非網羅的リスト及び説明は後述する。いびきが止まると、システムアーキテクチャ302は、睡眠環境及び/又はベッド301に対して施された1つ又は複数の以前の調節を、いびき前の状態又は状況に復帰させる命令をオプションで実行できる(706)。これらのオプションの「再調節」は、いびきが停止したことを検出した直後に又は最後にいびきが検出されてから所定時間が経過した後に実行できる。
本開示によれば、システムアーキテクチャ300は、いびきに関連したフィードバックをユーザに与えることもできる。様々な例では、中央制御装置302により処理且つ分析されたいびき情報は、様々な形式でユーザおよび様々な装置に提供できる。
Claims (20)
- 音測定装置を用いて音波を測定する段階と、
前記音波の1つ又は複数のパラメータ値をエアマットレスシステムの中央制御装置において求める段階と、
前記1つ又は複数のパラメータ値を、いびきを示す値、範囲、又はパターンと比較する段階と、
ユーザのいびき状態を確認する段階と、
前記中央制御装置を用いて、前記エアマットレスシステムの1つ又は複数の調節可能な特徴への変更を開始する段階とを含む、方法。 - 前記エアマットレスシステムの1つ又は複数の調節可能な特徴への変更を開始する前記段階が、少なくとも1つの命令を前記中央制御装置から前記1つ又は複数の調節可能な特徴に伝送する段階を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エアマットレスシステムの1つ又は複数の調節可能な特徴への変更を開始する前記段階が、調節可能な基礎の頭部位置を調節する段階を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
