Abstract
Description
本出願は、「MARINE DUCTED PROPELLER JET PROPULSION SYSTEM」と題する、2013年3月15日に出願した、米国仮特許出願第61/799、274号に対して優先権を主張し、参照によって本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (13)
- 船舶用の装置であって、
ディフューザ/コンフューザと、
ステアリング制御ノズルアセンブリと、
増加半径であって、前記半径が前記ディフューザ/コンフューザとステアリング制御ノズルアセンブリとの間の推移点において導入される、増加半径と、を備え、前記ディフューザ/コンフューザが広範囲の船速、操縦、及び海象により提示される大きな圧力差にわたって水流の形状及び対応する加速度を制御するように設計される、装置。 - ハブであって、
前記ハブが大きい平坦な直径先端部と、減少可変直径中間部と、小径後端部であって、その中央を穴あけされた同心ボアを有する丸みを帯びたノーズを形成する小径後端部と、中央環状端部延長部と、を含むハブを更に備える、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ディフューザ/コンフューザが、前記ハブに対して反対側に配設される、内向きにテーパーを付けた凸状表面及び環状内部を含む、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 同心外側環状キャビティであって、
前記ハブに実質的に一定の厚さの壁を提供する過剰重量の軽減を主たる目的とする、同心外側環状キャビティを更に備える、請求項3に記載の装置。 - 同心内側環状ボアを更に備える、
請求項4に記載の装置。 - ディフューザ/コンフューザ羽根と、
ディフューザ/コンフューザベーンであって、
前記ディフューザ/コンフューザが一定の直径を有するように前記ベーンが前記ハブの直径の関数である半径方向幅を有するディフューザ/コンフューザベーンと、を更に備える、請求項2に記載の装置。 - 各羽根の厚さがエアフォイル形状であってよく、かつとがっていないまたはとがっているのいずれでもよい縁側部を除いて全体にわたって一様な厚さを有してよい、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記ベーンが、インペラの方向性前進とは反対の方向に湾曲している前縁及び典型的にはハブ表面に対して垂直である直線セクションを含む、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記ベーンの湾曲端部が、前記ハブを二分しかつ前記直線セクションを組み込む長手方向平面から離れて約10〜約40度の角度で傾斜している、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記ベーンが、前記組付けられたハブの輪郭表面に一端部で長さ方向にしっかりと取り付けられている、請求項9に記載の装置。
- インペラであって、
前記ディフューザ/コンフューザに直ぐ隣接して配設されているインペラと、
インペラ羽根であって、前記ハブの外向きにテーパーを付けた凸状表面に沿って固定される、インペラ羽根と、を更に備える、請求項10に記載の装置。 - ディフューザ/コンフューザベーンの数が、インペラ羽根の数に対して選択される、請求項11に記載の装置。
- インペラ羽根対ディフューザ/コンフューザベーンの比率は奇数、偶数またはその逆である、請求項12に記載の装置。
