Abstract
Description
(i)少なくとも1つのポリアリールエーテルケトンポリマー[(PAEK)ポリマー]と、
(ii)「Handbook of Chemistry and Physics」、CRC Press、第64版、B−65〜B−158頁に定義される、1.3〜2.5の電気陰性度(ε)を有する元素の少なくとも1つの窒化物(NI)と
を含むポリマー組成物[本明細書では以下、組成物(C)]を含む締結具に関する。
締結具(F)を説明するために本明細書で用いられるような用語はすべて、当業者に十分よく知られており、それらの一般的な意味のもとで理解されるべきである。
− 正方形であるそれらの頭の形状に関連して、四角ボルト;
− 六角形であるそれらの頭の形状に関連して、六角ボルト;
− 六角ボルトに似ているが基板とかみ合うワッシャー様の平らな表面を含有する、六角フランジボルト;
− 丸い頭を一端に典型的には有する、丸頭ボルト;それらの中で、丸頭ショートスクエア・ネックボルト、丸頭波型ネックボルト、丸頭フィンネックボルト、ステップボルト、皿頭ボルトおよびすり割付き皿頭ボルト、平皿頭エレベーターボルト、T頭ボルト、プラウボルトならびにトラックボルトがとりわけ著名であり得る。
− 図1の例示されたフックボルトにおけるように、フックまたはロープを受け取るように設計された輪になった頭を典型的には有する、アイボルト
である。
本発明の文脈内で、「少なくとも1つのポリアリールエーテルケトンポリマー[(PAEK)ポリマー]」という表現は、1つもしくは2つ以上の(PAEK)ポリマーを意味することを意図する。(PAEK)ポリマーの混合物を本発明の目的のために有利に使用することができる。
(式中:
− 互いに等しいかもしくは異なる、R’のそれぞれは、ハロゲン、アルキル、アルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、エーテル、チオエーテル、カルボン酸、エステル、アミド、イミド、アルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属スルホネート、アルキルスルホネート、アルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属ホスホネート、アルキルホスホネート、アミンおよび第四級アンモニウムからなる群から選択され;
− j’は、ゼロであるか、または0〜4の整数である)
からなる群から選択される。
本発明の文脈内で、「少なくとも1つの窒化物(NI)」という表現は、1つもしくは2つ以上の窒化物(NI)を意味することを意図する。窒化物(NI)の混合物を、本発明の目的のために有利に使用することができる。
本発明の組成物(C)は有利には、組成物(C)の総重量を基準として少なくとも1.0重量%、好ましくは少なくとも1.10重量%、より好ましくは少なくとも2.0重量%、最も好ましくは少なくとも5.0重量%の量で窒化物(NI)を含む。
− 色L*>70、好ましくはL*>71であり、
− 色b*は少なくとも8である、
ここで、色は、以下の通り、CIE Lab標準を用いて厚さが2.5mmである射出成形された色プラークで測定された。色は一般に、1976年にCIE(国際照明委員会)(「Kirk−Othmer Encylopedia of Chemical Technology」、2004年、第7章、303〜341頁に、K.Nassau)によって定義された三刺激座標である、L*、a*、b*値で特徴付けられる。これらの3つの基本座標は、色の明度(L*、L*=0は黒をもたらし、L*=100は白を示す)、赤/マゼンタと緑との間のその位置(a*、負の値は緑を示し、一方正の値はマゼンタを示す)および黄と青との間のその位置(b*、負の値は青を示し、正の値は黄を示す)を表す。
KetaSpire(登録商標)PEEK KT−820Pは、Solvay Specialty Polymers USA,LLCから商業的に入手可能なポリエーテルエーテルケトンポリマーである。
窒化ホウ素、ESK Ceramics,GmbHから商業的に入手可能なBoronid(登録商標)S1−SF、2.5μmの平均粒度。
窒化ホウ素、ESK Ceramics,GmbHから商業的に入手可能なBoronid(登録商標)S15、15μmの平均粒度。
炭素繊維、SGL Corporation製のSigrafil C30 APS 006
タルク、Luzenac Americaから商業的に入手可能な、Mistron Vapor R
PEEK樹脂と所望の量のBoronid(登録商標)S1−SFまたはBoronid(登録商標)S15との乾燥ブレンドを、先ず約20分間タンブルブレンドし、引き続き40:1のL/D比を有する25mmのBerstorff共回転部分噛合い二軸スクリュー押出機を用いて溶融配合することによって調製した。押出機は、8つのバレル区域を有し、バレル区域2〜8が加熱区域である。真空ベンディングを配合の間ずっと18〜20インチの真空でバレル区域7にて適用してコンパウンドから水分およびいかなる可能な残留揮発物も取り除いた。配合温度分布は、バレル区域2〜5が330℃に設定され、一方バレル区域5〜8およびダイアダプターが340℃に設定されるようなものであった。スクリュー速度は全体をわたって180を使用し、押出量は15〜17 lb/hrであったが、押出機ダイの出口での、各配合溶融押出物について手動で測定される、溶融温度は、398〜402℃の範囲であった。各配合についての押出物を水槽中で冷却し、次に、ペレタイザーを用いてペレット化した。4つのブレンドのこのようにして得られたペレットを次に、150℃での乾燥エアオーブン中で4時間乾燥させ、機械的試験にかけた。前記ペレットを、標準条件および供給業者Solvay Specialty Polymersによって提供されるKetaSpire KT−820 PEEK樹脂についてのガイドラインに従ってToshiba 150トンの射出成形機を用いて射出成形してASTM試験片を製造した。

− D4812:アイゾット耐衝撃性(ノッチなし)
− D3763:名称Dynatup衝撃でも知られる計装化耐衝撃性
− D648:熱たわみ温度(HDT)
− D5279:200℃でのDMA貯蔵弾性率(Pa)
表2に記載された炭素繊維強化PEEK配合物は、8つのバレル区域を備え、40の全体L/D比を有する二軸スクリュー共回転噛合い押出機を用いて溶融配合することによって調製した。PEEK粉末は、窒化ホウ素とタンブルブレンドするか、押出機の供給ホッパー中に(対照の場合には)そのままで供給するかのどちらかであった。炭素繊維は、必要とされる割合で重量測定法で供給し、押出機のバレル区域5上の供給口にて計量供給した。バレル区域7での真空ベント口を用いて溶融体を高真空に引いて炭素繊維のサイジングから発生する場合がある一切の残留水分または有機揮発物を除去した。配合された配合物を、1つ穴3mm直径を用いて、ストランドに形成し、散水を使ったコンベヤーベルト上で冷却し、その後ペレタイザーに供給して押出物をペレットに切り刻んだ。配合条件の詳細を表3に示す。
Claims (15)
- (i)少なくとも1つのポリアリールエーテルケトンポリマー[(PAEK)ポリマー]と、
(ii)「Handbook of Chemistry and Physics」、CRC Press、第64版、B−65〜B−158頁に定義される、1.3〜2.5の電気陰性度(ε)を有する元素の少なくとも1つの窒化物(NI)と
を含むポリマー組成物[本明細書で以下、組成物(C)]を含む締結具。 - 前記窒化物(NI)が、少なくとも1.6の電気陰性度を有する元素の窒化物である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記窒化物(NI)が窒化ホウ素である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記窒化物(NI)が、前記組成物(C)の総重量を基準として、最大50.0重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記ポリマー組成物(C)が、前記(PAEK)ポリマーとは異なる、少なくとも1つの他の熱可塑性ポリマー(ポリマーT)をさらに含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記ポリマー組成物(C)が、前記(PAEK)ポリマー以外の1つもしくは複数の成分[成分(I)]をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記ポリマー組成物(C)が、少なくとも1つの補強充填材をさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記補強充填材が、ウォラストナイトおよびガラス繊維から選択される、請求項9に記載の締結具。
- 前記補強充填材が炭素繊維である、請求項9に記載の締結具。
- 前記ポリマー組成物(C)から本質的になる、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記締結具がねじ付きであり、前記ねじ付き締結具が、ボルト、ナット、ねじ、頭のない止めねじ、スクリベット、ねじ付きスタッドおよびねじ付きブッシングからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記締結具がねじなしであり、前記ねじなし締結具が、ピン、止め輪、リベット、ブラケットおよび締め付けワッシャーからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記ポリマー組成物(C)の射出成形および固化の工程を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の締結具の製造方法。
