Abstract
Description
本出願は、2006年12月28日に出願された米国仮特許出願第60/877,947号明細書の利益を主張するものであり、その全体が参照により本明細書に援用される。
「弓形の」とは、弓または弧の形状を有することを意味し;
「適合した」とは、同じ形状およびサイズを有することを意味し;
「類似の」とは、サイズまたは位置のみが異なるが、形状は異ならないことを意味し;
「断面」とは、長手方向に垂直な平面断面を意味し;
「均一な断面」とは、長手方向に沿った断面の寸法の形状および面積が両方とも一定であることを意味し;
「不均一な断面」とは、長手方向に沿った断面の寸法の形状または面積のいずれかが異なり得ることを意味する。一例は、連続的にまたは段階的に;長手方向に先細りになる形状であり得る。
Claims (10)
- 第1の部材と第2の部材とを含む、複合材料を含むクランプであって、
前記部材の少なくとも一方が、使用時に、クランプ留めされる細長部材の外側面とほぼ適合して接触する内側面と、
クランプ部分の外側面とを含むクランプ部分を含み、
それによって、前記クランプ部分の外側面が、前記細長部材の外側面とほぼ類似の形状を有し、
前記複合材料が、
(1)熱可塑性ポリマー、熱硬化性ポリマーまたは熱硬化可能ポリマー、および(2)少なくとも1種の強化用繊維、
を含むことを特徴とするクランプ。 - 前記複合材料が、
(1)熱可塑性ポリマー、熱硬化性ポリマーまたは熱硬化可能ポリマー、および(2)少なくとも1種の強化用繊維、
から本質的になることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のクランプ。 - 前記強化用繊維が、前記クランプ部分を通って長手方向に延在している長繊維から本質的になることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のクランプ。
- 第1の部材と第2の部材とを含む、複合材料を含むクランプであって、
前記部材の少なくとも一方が、クランプ部分を含み、
前記クランプ部分が、ほぼ均一な断面または不均一な断面を含むことを特徴とするクランプ。 - 前記複合材料が強化用繊維を含み、前記強化用繊維が、前記クランプ部分を通って長手方向に延在している長繊維から本質的になることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のクランプ。
- 第1の部材と第2の部材とを含む、複合材料を含むクランプであって、前記部材の少なくとも一方が、クランプ留めされる細長部材の外側面と異なる形状を有する内側面と、クランプ部分の外側面とを含む、クランプ部分を含み、
それによって、前記クランプ部分の外側面が、前記細長部材の外側面と異なる形状を有することを特徴とするクランプ。 - 前記複合材料が、前記クランプ部分を通って長手方向に延在している長繊維から本質的になる強化用繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のクランプ。
- 前記複合材料がポリイミドを含むことを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載のクランプ。
- 前記長繊維が炭素繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載のクランプ。
- 前記炭素繊維が織布の形態であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のクランプ。
