Abstract
【解決手段】コネクタは、同一形状の複数の電線側端子と、これらを保持する絶縁ハウジング30と、を備える。絶縁ハウジング30は、複数の端子収容室C11,…を画定するとともに、各端子収容室C11,…に設けられる複数の端子係止部を有する。複数の端子係止部は、第1のグループと第2のグループとに分類され、第1のグループに属する端子係止部は、第2のグループに属する端子係止部よりも高い保持力を有する。少なくとも、最大直径方向の両外側に位置する端子収容室C11,C13,C31,C38に設けられた端子係止部が前記第1のグループに属し、少なくとも、当該複数の端子収容室の配列の中心Oに最も近い端子収容室C24,C25に設けられた端子係止部が前記第2のグループに属する。

Claims (7)
- 複数の電線をこれらの電気接続対象に接続するためのコネクタであって、
前記複数の電線のそれぞれの端末に装着される複数の電線側端子であって互いに同一の形状を有するものと、
これらの電線側端子を保持する絶縁ハウジングと、を備え、当該絶縁ハウジングは、前記各電線側端子の挿入をそれぞれ受け入れる複数の端子収容室を画定するとともに、各端子収容室に挿入される前記電線側端子を係止する複数の端子係止部を有し、
前記各端子係止部は、弾性変形することによって前記端子収容室内への前記電線側端子の挿入を許容する一方、当該電線側端子が当該端子収容室内に完全に挿入された状態で弾性復帰することにより当該電線側端子と係合し、これにより当該電線側端子を前記絶縁ハウジング内に保持し、
前記複数の端子係止部は、当該端子係止部が前記電線側端子を保持する力である保持力について、第1のグループに属する端子係止部と、第2のグループに属する端子係止部と、に分類され、第1のグループに属する端子係止部は、第2のグループに属する端子係止部がそれぞれ有する保持力よりも高い保持力を有し、
前記複数の端子係止部のうち、少なくとも、前記複数の端子収容室のうち最大直径方向の両外側に位置する端子収容室に設けられた端子係止部が、前記第1のグループに属し、少なくとも、当該複数の端子収容室の配列の中心に最も近い端子収容室に設けられた端子係止部が、前記第2のグループに属する、コネクタ。 - 請求項1記載のコネクタであって、前記複数の端子収容室が矩形状に配列されており、その矩形の長辺方向の両外側に位置する全ての端子収容室に設けられた端子係止部が前記第1のグループに属する、コネクタ。
- 請求項2記載のコネクタであって、前記複数の端子収容室のうち最外周に位置する端子収容室に設けられた全ての端子係止部が前記第1のグループに属する、コネクタ。
- 請求項3記載のコネクタであって、当該最外周に位置する端子収容室の内側に位置する端子収容室に設けられる全ての端子係止部が前記第2のグループに属する、コネクタ。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のコネクタであって、前記各端子係止部は、前記絶縁ハウジングのハウジング本体につながる基部と、その反対側の先端部と、を有するランスであって、当該先端部が前記電線側端子の軸方向と直交する方向に撓み変位するように弾性変形するものであり、当該ランスは前記先端部の近傍に前記電線側端子と係合してこれを係止する係止部を有し、前記撓み変位することにより前記端子収容室内への前記電線側端子の挿入を許容する一方、当該電線側端子が当該端子収容室内に完全に挿入された状態で弾性復帰することにより当該電線側端子と係合し、これにより当該電線側端子を前記絶縁ハウジング内に保持する、コネクタ。
- 請求項5記載のコネクタであって、前記第1グループに属するランスが第2グループに属するランスの曲げ剛性よりも高い曲げ剛性を有する、コネクタ。
- 請求項5または6記載のコネクタであって、前記第1グループに属するランスの係止部が第2グループに属するランスの係止部よりも前記端子収容室内に入り込んだ位置にある、コネクタ。
