Abstract
Description
図1A〜図1Cは、磁性体粒子操作が行われる管状デバイスの一例を示す模式的断面図である。図1Aに示すように、このデバイスは、管状の容器10内に、容器底面側から、液体層32,35,31とゲル状媒体層22,21とが交互に重層されている。ゲル状媒体は、隣接する液体層中の液体と混和性を有さず、これらの液体に対して、不溶または難溶である。
図2(a)は、本発明の磁性体粒子操作用装置の一形態を示す模式的正面図である。図2(b)は、容器が保持されていない状態の磁性体粒子操作用装置の模式的正面図である。図2(c)は、容器保持部170に容器10が保持され容器押圧部180により押圧された状態の磁性体粒子操作用装置のC−C線断面図である。図2(d)は、図2(c)のD−D線断面図である。

Claims (5)
- 容器内にゲル状媒体層と液体層とが交互に重層され、さらに磁性体粒子が装填された管状デバイス内において、前記磁性体粒子を移動させるための磁性体粒子操作用装置であって、
前記容器を保持するための容器保持部と、前記容器保持部に前記容器を押圧するための容器押圧部と、磁場印加部とを備え、
前記磁場印加部は、磁力源を有し、
前記容器保持部および前記磁場印加部の少なくとも一方は、前記容器保持部に対して相対的に前記磁力源を一軸方向に移動させることが可能な移動機構を有し、
前記容器押圧部によって前記容器が前記一軸方向と直交する方向に押圧されることで、前記容器は、前記一軸方向と平行な、容器保持部の受け面上に固定され、
前記移動機構により、前記容器保持部に対して相対的に前記磁力源を前記一軸方向に移動させることで、前記容器内において前記磁性体粒子を容器の長手方向に移動させる、磁性体粒子操作用装置。 - 前記容器は、前記容器の長手方向が前記一軸方向と平行になるように保持される、請求項1に記載の磁性体粒子操作用装置。
- 前記容器保持部は、前記容器押圧部と前記磁場印加部との間に配置される、請求項1または2に記載の磁性体粒子操作用装置。
- 前記容器保持部は、前記磁力源に対向する部分のうち、前記磁力源の移動領域に相当する部分に空隙を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の磁性体粒子操作用装置。
- 前記容器保持部が非磁性体材料からなる、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の磁性体粒子操作用装置。
