Abstract
Description
(a)成分として、組成物の総量に対して、
(a1)固形ゴムを2.5質量%以上、
(a2)室温(22℃)で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーを5質量%未満、
(a3)炭化水素系樹脂を、前記(a2)との合計で5質量%以上20質量%以下、および
(a4)液状ポリジエンを15質量%以上
と、
(b)加硫系として、下記(b1)〜(b3)からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種:
(b1)硫黄および1種以上の促進剤、
(b2)ペルオキシド加硫系またはジスルフィド加硫系、
(b3)キノン、キノンジオキシムまたはジニトロソベンゼン、
と、を含む熱硬化性組成物に関する。
(a1)固形ゴム
固形ゴム(室温(22℃)においてエラストマー弾性を示す熱可塑性ポリマーを含む)(a1)としては、例えば、ポリブタジエンに基づく固形ゴム、スチレンブタジエンゴム(スチレン/ブタジエン/スチレンコポリマー(SBS))、ブタジエン/アクリロニトリルゴム、スチレン/イソプレンゴム(スチレン/イソプレン/スチレンコポリマー(SIS))、スチレン−エチレン/プロピレン−スチレンコポリマー(SEPS)、スチレン−エチレン/エチレン/プロピレン−スチレンコポリマー(SEEPS)、合成または天然イソプレンゴム、ポリシクロオクテナマー、ブチルゴム、ポリウレタンゴム等を好適に用いることができる。
本発明において、オレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマー(a2)は、硬化物に音響減衰特性を付与するように機能することができる。
炭化水素系樹脂(a3)は、硬化物のガラス転移温度を−30℃〜40℃の所望する範囲にするのに寄与する。これにより、硬化物は、低温領域を含む広い温度範囲で優れた音響減衰特性を示し、かつ、通常の周囲温度下においても優れた音響減衰特性を示す。
液状ゴム(a4)は、室温(22℃)で液状であるポリジエンであることが好ましい。
本発明に係る組成物は、さらに(b)加硫系を含む。加硫系に関しては、一般的にゴムの加硫に使われるものを適用できる。以下のものが例として挙げられる。
(b2)ペルオキシド加硫系またはジスルフィド加硫系
(b3)キノン、キノンジオキシムまたはジニトロソベンゼン
加硫剤としての硫黄は、粉末状の硫黄を用いることが好ましい。硫黄の含有量は、特に限定されるものではなく、促進剤や他の加硫剤の有無やその組み合わせ等を考慮して選択すればよいが、一般には、組成物の総量に対して、組成物の総量に対して、0.01質量%以上6.5質量%以下であり、0.05質量%以上4質量%以下であることが好ましい。また、一つの実施形態では、0.05質量%以上1質量%以下であることがより好ましく、0.1質量%以上0.5質量%以下であることがさらに好ましい場合がある。硫黄の含有量を1質量%以下とすることにより、硬化物の低温での柔軟性を向上させ、低温における制振性を改善することができる場合がある。
ペルオキシド加硫系としては、たとえば加硫系として添加し得る既知の有機ペルオキシドを用いることができる。その例としては、ジベンゾイルペルオキシド、tert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート、および、特に1,1−ジ−(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン、ブチル−4,4−ジ−(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)吉草酸、ジクミルペルオキシド、ジ−(2−tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン、tert−ブチルクミルペルオキシド2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ−(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)ヘキサン、ジ−tert−ブチルペルオキシド、2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ−(tert−ブチルペルオキシ)ヘキサ−3−イン、及びトリアリルイソシアヌレート等の架橋剤が挙げられる。ペルオキシド加硫系の添加量は、例えば、組成物の総量に対して0.3〜4.5質量%とすることができる。また、ペルオキシド加硫系の代わりに、ジスルフィド加硫系、すなわち、ジスルフィドに基づく加硫系を使用することもでき、例えば、チウラムジスルフィドが好適に用いられる。ジスルフィド加硫系の添加量は、例えば、組成物の総量に対して0.2〜5質量%とすることができる。
その他の加硫系としては、キノン、キノンジオキシム(特にp−ベンゾキノンジオキシム)、ニトロソベンゼン、およびジニトロソベンゼン(特にp−ジニトロソベンゼン)等を使用することができる。これらは、ゴムの加硫系としても既知である。これらの加硫系は、他の加硫系と組み合せて用いることもでき、例えば、上述の元素硫黄、有機促進剤とキノンジオキシムとからなる混合加硫系を使用することができる。ここで、キノンジオキシムの例としてはp−ベンゾキノンジオキシムが挙げられる。また、他のキノンジオキシムを、上記の硫黄系と組合せて使用してもよい。また、加硫系がキノンジオキシムのみから構成されていてもよい。
好ましい実施態様において、本発明の組成物は、フィラー(c)を含有することができる。フィラーの含有量は、組成物の総量に対して10〜45質量%であることが好ましく、15〜40質量%であることがより好ましく、25〜36質量%であることがさらに好ましい。
本発明の組成物は、水分を結合させるために、上記のフィラーに加えて、組成物の総量に対して0〜8重量%の、好ましくは1〜6重量%の酸化カルシウムをさらに含有することができる。
一実施形態では、本発明の組成物は、熱硬化の前または間に不可逆的に膨張(発泡)するように処方されることが好ましい。この不可逆的な膨張により硬化物の体積を不可逆的に増加させることによって、構造体の空洞または中間領域を硬化物でより完全に満たすことができるようになる。この目的のために、本発明の組成物は、いわゆる発泡剤(d)を含有することが好ましい。
本発明に係る組成物は、さらに可塑剤(e)を含むことができる。可塑剤を含むことにより、組成物の加工性を改善するとともに、硬化物の機械的特性を改善することができる。
測定機器:JIS K 6394に適合できる装置
(SII(セイコーインスツルメンツ)社製DMS6100等)
測定モード:圧縮
測定温度:−20℃〜80℃
昇温温度:2℃/min
測定周波数:0.1〜100Hz
損失係数(tanδ)及びガラス転移温度測定における選択周波数:50Hz
貯蔵弾性率(E’)測定における選択周波数:20Hz
硬化物の損失係数(tanδ)及び貯蔵弾性率(E’)の測定方法を以下に記載する。
2.硬化した試験体を直径7〜10mm、厚み4〜8mmの円型に成形する。
3.上記成型した試験体の各測定周波数における損失係数(tanδ)および貯蔵弾性率(E’)を、以下の測定条件に従い測定する。
(測定条件)
測定機器:SII(セイコーインスツルメンツ)社製DMS6100
測定モード:圧縮
測定温度:−20℃〜80℃
昇温条件:2℃/分
測定周波数:0.1,1.0,10,20,50,100Hz
(1)耐低温衝撃性試験
耐衝撃性試験の概略を図1に示す。A図は測定装置の全体図、B図は上面図、C図は正面図、D図は側面図である。図1に記載の測定装置において、十字引張試験体の板(a)は下側ブロック(g)により支持されている。錘(c)の自由落下による衝撃荷重は、押し棒(d)、上側ブロック(e)を介して、板(b)に荷重され、十字引張試験体の板(a)と板(b)を剥離する応力として作用する。
(試験試料)
評価対象の組成物を、十字に重ね合わせた板(a)、板(b)(SPCC鋼板(鉄))の間に塗布し、170℃20分で硬化させることによる得られた十字引張試験体。硬化物(h)の厚さは約3mmとする。
(試験方法)
1.十字引張試験体を−30℃の低温槽に30分以上入れる。
2.低温槽を開け、すばやく、十字引張試験体を試験器具に設置する。
3.低温層の扉を閉め、5分放置する。
4.落下距離20mmから所定の錘を5回落下させ、接着剤の剥がれ度合いを確認する。
測定温度を−30℃、錘の自由落下距離を20mmに設定し、錘の重さを0.3kg〜3.0kgまで変化させた場合に、接着層の破損または剥離が生じた場合を不合格(×)、接着層の破損及び剥離が生じない場合を合格(○)と評価した。実施例1〜4、比較例1〜8の評価結果を表2に示す。
実施例4と比較例1の組成物をマスチック材として用いた一般試作実車ドアでの開閉試験を実施した。

Claims (14)
- (a)成分として、組成物の総量に対して、
(a1)固形ゴムを2.5質量%以上、
(a2)22℃で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーを5質量%未満、
(a3)炭化水素系樹脂を、前記(a2)との合計で5質量%以上20質量%以下、および
(a4)液状ポリジエンを15質量%以上
と、
(b)加硫系として、下記(b1)〜(b3)からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種:
(b1)硫黄および1種以上の促進剤、
(b2)ペルオキシド加硫系またはジスルフィド加硫系、
(b3)キノン、キノンジオキシムまたはジニトロソベンゼン、
と、を含む熱硬化性組成物。 - 前記(a2)22℃で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーは、ジエンおよび/または芳香族置換オレフィンの単重合体または共重合体であり、−30℃〜15℃の範囲のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項1に記載の熱硬化性組成物。
- 前記(a2)22℃で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーのスチレン含量が10質量%以上60質量%以下である、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 前記(a2)22℃で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーの質量平均分子量が1,000以上50,000以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記(a2)22℃で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーがジエン画分を含み、ジエン画分中のビニル画分が20モル%以上98モル%以下である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記(b)加硫系として、組成物の総量に対して
0.05質量%以上6.5質量%以下の硫黄、および
0.25質量%以上20質量%以下の加硫促進剤
を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。 - さらに、組成物の総量に対して10質量%以上45質量%以下の(c)フィラーを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- さらに、組成物の総量に対して0.2質量%以上6質量%以下の(d)発泡剤を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- さらに、組成物の総量に対して2質量%以上40質量%以下の(e)可塑剤を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 15〜60℃の温度範囲でポンプにより輸送し得るような粘性を示す、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 硬化後、−20℃〜0℃の温度範囲においてDMA法により測定した損失係数tanδ(50Hz)が0.5以上である、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 15〜60℃の範囲の温度でポンプ輸送し得る組成物である熱硬化性組成物であって、
(a)成分として、組成物の総量に対して、
(a1)固形ゴムを2.5質量%以上、
(a2)22℃で液体又はペーストであるオレフィン性二重結合を含有するポリマーを5質量%未満、
(a3)炭化水素系樹脂を、前記(a2)との合計で5質量%以上20質量%以下、および
(a4)液状ポリジエンを15質量%以上
と、
(b)加硫系として、下記(b1)〜(b3)からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種:
(b1)硫黄および1種以上の促進剤、
(b2)ペルオキシド加硫系またはジスルフィド加硫系、
(b3)キノン、キノンジオキシムまたはジニトロソベンゼン、
と、を含み、
熱硬化後、−20℃〜0℃の範囲の温度においてDMA法により測定した損失係数tanδ(50Hz)が0.5以上である熱硬化性組成物。 - 自動車構築産業または機材構築産業における音響減衰材料としての、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の組成物の使用。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を塗布する方法であって、組成物を15〜60℃の範囲の温度でポンプにより適用箇所に注入し、基材上に液状またはペースト状で塗布する方法。
