を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記結合層は、シリコン及び遷移金属窒化物を含み、前記結合層を形成することは:
多孔質基材プレフォームのバルク表面上に、スラリーから、遷移金属を含む層を堆積すること;
前記遷移金属を含む前記層を、窒素を含む気体に暴露することによって、前記遷移金属窒化物を形成し、前記遷移金属窒化物を含む多孔質層を形成すること;及び
前記多孔質基材プレフォーム及び前記遷移金属窒化物を含む前記多孔質層に、溶融シリコンを浸透させて、セラミックマトリクス複合基材と、シリコン及び遷移金属窒化物を含む結合層とを含む物品を形成すること
を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
