Abstract
Description
もちろん、親水性コーティング部の上層は、下層よりも水に対する親和性が高いので、水分を吸収して膨潤することにより、コイル体表面での潤滑性を十分に発揮することが可能である。
以下では、上述した本発明の内容を明確にするために、本発明のガイドワイヤの各種実施形態を説明する。
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1の構成を示した説明図である。ガイドワイヤ1は、コアシャフト5と、コアシャフト5を覆うコイル体6などから構成されている。コアシャフト5とコイル体6とは、ロウ材などから成る接合部を介して互いに接合されている。本実施形態では、コイル体6の先端部とコアシャフト5の先端部とが接合部8aを介して接続されており、コイル体6の基端部とコアシャフト5の中間部とが接合部8bを介して接続されている。
図3は、本発明の第2実施形態のガイドワイヤ2の親水性コーティング部20およびポリマーブラシ部12の拡大図である。第2実施形態のガイドワイヤ2は、上述した第1実施形態のガイドワイヤ1とは以下の点が異なっている。すなわち、ガイドワイヤ2の親水性コーティング部20は、上層21と下層23とによって構成されている。また、下層23の水に対する親和性は、上層21の水に対する親和性と比較して低く設定されている。
一方で、下層23については、上層21よりも水に対する親和性に比べて低いので、親水性コーティング部20に水分が供給されても下層23は殆ど膨潤(変形)しない。
もちろん、上層21は、下層23よりも水に対する親和性が高いので、水分を吸収して膨潤することにより、コイル体6の表面で潤滑性を十分に発揮することが可能である。

- コアシャフトと、
前記コアシャフトを覆うコイル体と、
前記コイル体を覆う親水性コーティング部と
を備え、
前記コイル体と前記親水性コーティング部との間には、複数の高分子鎖からなるポリマーブラシ部が設けられていることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。 - 請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤであって、
前記親水性コーティング部は、上層と下層とから構成されており、
前記下層は、前記上層よりも水に対する親和性が低いことを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載のガイドワイヤであって、
前記ポリマーブラシ部を構成する材料と同じ材料が、前記親水性コーティング部に含まれていることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。
