Abstract
【解決手段】耐水性石膏製品の製造方法であって、前記製品が、0.4対1未満の水対固体比を有する硬化性水性硫酸カルシウム分散液であって、不透水性表面を有する軽量中空体を当該分散液を通じて分配する前記分散液と、前記硫酸カルシウム分散液の存在下で水和可能な水和性セメントであって、前記分散液に存在する、前記硫酸カルシウムと水との反応から生じた過剰な水と反応させるために、前記水和性セメントが水硬性粉末の重量を基準にして5〜15%の量で存在する前記水和性セメントとから製造され、前記硫酸カルシウムは、半水石膏または無水石膏である、方法。

Description
比較目的で、市販のグラスロック(Glasroc)小片をセントゴバイン・ジプロック(Saint−Gobain Gyproc)より入手した。ポリメチルヒドロゲンシロキサンをミキサー段階で前記ガラス強化製品に添加し、表面水侵入からさらに保護するためにポリマーで被覆した。これを吸水試験用の125mm×125mmの小片に切断した。結果を、実施例3の結果と比較して表2に示す。
水硬性粉末は、α型プラスター:CSAセメントの9:1ブレンドであった。40℃での計量水は実施例1よりもわずかに高く、水:固体比は0.4であった。過剰のスラリーを、ジョンズマンビル(Johns Manville)からのガラス繊維仕上げ材を下に入れて2個の型に注いだ。型は152mm×152mm×12.5mm(内寸)の正方形断面の真鍮製であった。続いて、ガラス繊維の上部小片をスラリーの上部に置き、金属棒を全体に滑らせることによって押し込み、それによって組織を浸漬した。型を2枚のパースペックス(Perspex)シートの間に挟んで重しをかけた。
吸水試験は、試料を23℃の水道水中に浸漬し、試料上部と水面との間の水頭が30mmで維持されるようにした。所与の時間後、試料を取出して、過剰な水を吸い取った後、再秤量した。使用した方法は、EN520:2004の5.9.2項に記載されている方法と同じであるが、試料がより小さく、本発明の改善された耐水性を実証するために2時間よりも長い浸漬時間を使用した。実施例1の結果は3回の測定の平均値であるのに対し、実施例2及び3は2回の測定からの平均である。
240時間浸漬した試料(すなわち、飽和試料)の湿潤強度を、石膏パネルのコア及び端部硬度測定に関するASTM−C473の12節の方法に類似した方法を用いて測定した。直径2mmの鋼製パンチ(ASTM−C473は2.5mmと規定)を13mmの試料に通すために必要な最大力を、メクメシン(Mecmesin)フォースゲージを用いて、クロスヘッド速度30mm/分にて測定した。当該試験を試料端部周辺で16回繰返し、平均を求めた。
Claims (10)
- 耐水性石膏製品の製造方法であって、前記製品が、0.4対1未満の水対固体比を有する硬化性水性硫酸カルシウム分散液であって、不透水性表面を有する軽量中空体を当該分散液を通じて分配する前記分散液と、前記硫酸カルシウム分散液の存在下で水和可能な水和性セメントであって、前記分散液に存在する、前記硫酸カルシウムと水との反応から生じた過剰な水と反応させるために、前記水和性セメントが水硬性粉末の重量を基準にして5〜15%の量で存在する前記水和性セメントとから製造され、
前記硫酸カルシウムは、半水石膏または無水石膏である、方法。 - 前記水和性セメントがスルホアルミン酸カルシウムを含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記中空体が発泡ポリスチレン製である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記中空体が水硬性粉末の重量を基準にして0.5〜2重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記分散液が両親媒性化合物を含有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記両親媒性化合物が石鹸である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記分散液が、アルカリ環境中で加硫して疎水性シリコーン樹脂を生成する撥水剤を含有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記分散液がガラス繊維強化材をさらに含有する、本発明に記載の方法。
- 前記石膏製品が表面強化材を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記石膏製品が外部から加熱されずに製造される、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
