Claims (5)
- ハウジング内に回転自在に支持された入力軸と出力軸との相対角度変位による磁気的変化に基づいて前記入力軸に作用するトルクを検出するトルクセンサであって、
前記ハウジングの径方向側面に貫通して形成される貫通孔を通じて前記磁気的変化を検出する検出部と、
前記ハウジングの外周面から径方向外側に隆起して形成され内部に前記貫通孔が開口するとともに前記検出部を収容する収容室と、
前記ハウジングの外周に対する接線方向に延設され前記ハウジングの外部と前記収容室の内部とを連通する連通孔と、
前記連通孔に嵌装されるとともに前記検出部に対して傾斜して接続され検出信号に基づく信号を外部へ出力する出力端子と、
を備えることを特徴とするトルクセンサ。 - 前記出力端子は前記収容室の内部側から前記連通孔に嵌装され、前記検出部が前記収容室に収容されることで前記検出部と前記出力端子とが接続される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトルクセンサ。 - 前記出力端子は、前記連通孔に嵌装される嵌装部と前記連通孔の内径より外径が大きい端子部とを有し、
前記収容室の開口部を塞ぐカバーと、
前記収容室の開口部と前記カバーとの間に介装され前記開口部を全周に亘ってシールする第1シール部材と、
前記出力端子の前記嵌装部と前記端子部との境界の段部に配置され前記連通孔をシールする環状の第2シール部材と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のトルクセンサ。 - 前記カバーは金属製である、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のトルクセンサ。 - 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか一項に記載のトルクセンサを備えることを特徴とする電動パワーステアリング装置。
