Claims (4)
- 気筒内に燃料を直接噴射する4サイクルの内燃機関の自動停止制御装置であって、
予め定められた停止条件が成立し前記内燃機関への燃料噴射および点火を停止してクランク軸の回転を停止させる内燃機関停止時に、第1気筒のピストンが上死点に止まることが予測される場合には、該内燃機関停止時に排気行程にある第2気筒へ燃料噴射および点火をすることを特徴とする内燃機関の自動停止制御装置。 - 前記第2気筒への燃料噴射および点火は、該第2気筒の排気行程の後半において行うことを特徴とする請求項1の内燃機関の自動停止制御装置。
- 前記第2気筒への燃料噴射および点火を行う際に、前記第2気筒の排気弁の閉じタイミングを進角させることを特徴とする請求項1または2の内燃機関の自動停止制御装置。
- 前記第1気筒のピストンが上死点で止まることは、クランク軸の回転を停止させた時においてピストンが上死点で停止する場合或いはピストンが上死点で停止しない場合のクランク角度と内燃機関の回転速度との関係を予め求め、その関係から実際のクランク角度毎の内燃機関の回転速度を計測することにより、予測することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1の内燃機関の自動停止制御装置。
