Abstract
Description

Claims (58)
- シリコーン物品を形成するための装置であって、
シリコーン配合物をダイに供給するためのポンピングシステムであって、前記シリコーン配合物が、約2,000,000センチポアズ未満の粘度を有し、
前記ダイは遠位端、近位端、およびそれらの間のチャネルを有し、前記シリコーン配合物は前記ダイの前記チャネルを通って流れる、ポンピングシステムと、
放射エネルギーの源であって、前記放射エネルギーは、前記シリコーン配合物が、前記シリコーン物品を形成するために前記ダイの前記チャネルから流れ出る際に、前記シリコーン配合物を実質的に硬化する、放射エネルギーの源と、を備える、装置。 - 前記ダイは、約25℃から約60℃の動作温度を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイの少なくとも第1の部分、前記ポンピングシステムの一部分、またはそれらの組み合わせは、放射源に対して実質的に透明である、請求項1または2のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 約300ナノメートルにおける前記放射源の少なくとも約50%は、前記ダイの前記少なくとも第1の部分、前記ポンピングシステムの前記一部分、またはそれらの組み合わせを通って放射される、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイの前記第1の部分、前記ポンピングシステムの前記一部分、またはそれらの組み合わせは、石英、ガラス、ポリマー、またはそれらの組み合わせである、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ポリマーは、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリスチレン、またはそれらの組み合わせである、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記放射源は紫外光である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記シリコーン配合物は、前記ダイの前記遠位端を通って流れる前に、約200,000cPから約1,000,000cPの粘度を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記シリコーン配合物は、液状シリコーンゴム(LSR)、室温加硫性シリコーン(RTV)、またはそれらの組み合わせである、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記シリコーン物品は、前記シリコーン配合物が前記ダイの前記近位端を出る際に約10から約80のショアAデュロメータを有する、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイの第2の部分は金属である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイは、前記ダイの前記遠位端から前記近位端まで延びる円筒輪形状を有する、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイは、前記円筒輪形状の外径よりも小さな外径を有する内部インサートを更に含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記円筒輪形状の前記外径と前記内部インサートの前記外径との間の距離は、約1.0mmから約10.0mmである、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記内部インサートは、遠位端、近位端、およびそれらの間のチャネルを有する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記シリコーン配合物は、チューブに形成される、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- シリコーン物品を形成する方法であって、
ポンピングシステム内にシリコーン配合物であって、約2,000,000センチポアズ未満の粘度を有する、シリコーン配合物を提供することと、
遠位端、近位端、およびそれらの間のチャネルを有するダイを提供することと、
前記ポンピングシステムから前記ダイの前記チャネルを通って前記シリコーン配合物を供給することと、
前記シリコーン配合物が、前記ダイの前記チャネルから流れ出て前記シリコーン物品を形成する際に、前記シリコーン配合物を実質的に硬化するように放射源を前記シリコーン配合物に照射することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記シリコーン配合物を供給することは、約25℃から約60℃の動作温度にある、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ダイの少なくとも第1の部分、前記ポンピングシステムの一部分、またはそれらの組み合わせは、放射源に対して実質的に透明である、請求項17または18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 約300ナノメートルにおける前記放射源の少なくとも約50%は、前記ダイの前記少なくとも第1の部分、前記ポンピングシステムの前記一部分、またはそれらの組み合わせを通って放射される、請求項19に記載の方法。

- 前記ポリマーは、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリスチレン、またはそれらの組み合わせである、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記放射源は紫外光である、請求項17〜22のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリコーン配合物は、約200,000cPから約1,000,000cPの粘度で前記ダイの前記遠位端に供給される、請求項17〜23のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリコーン材料は、液状シリコーンゴム(LSR)、室温加硫性シリコーン(RTV)、またはそれらの組み合わせである、請求項17〜24のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリコーン物品は、前記シリコーン配合物が前記ダイの前記近位端を出る際に、約10から80のショアAデュロメータを有する、請求項17〜25のいずれか1項に記載の方法。

- 約0.002mモル/グラムから約0.2mモル/グラムの架橋密度を有する、請求項36〜43のいずれか1項に記載のシリコーンチューブ。
- 約0.006mモル/グラムから約0.1mモル/グラムの架橋密度を有する、請求項44に記載のシリコーンチューブ。
