Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 燐光体変換発光ダイオードであって:
青色スペクトル範囲内に第1ピーク波長を有する第1スペクトル分布を放出する発光ダイオード;
前記第1スペクトル分布の光の一部を吸収し、かつ、前記の吸収した光を、緑色スペクトル範囲内に第2ピーク波長を有する第2スペクトル分布の光へ変換するように構成される第1発光材料;
前記第1スペクトル分布の光の一部及び/又は前記第2スペクトル分布の光の一部を吸収し、かつ、前記の吸収した光の少なくとも一部を、第3スペクトル幅を有し、かつ、第3ピーク波長を有する第3スペクトル分布の光へ変換するように構成される第2発光材料;及び
前記第1スペクトル分布、前記第2スペクトル分布、及び前記第3スペクトル分布のうちの少なくとも一の光の一部を吸収し、かつ、前記の吸収した光の少なくとも一部を、第4スペクトル幅を有し、かつ、第4ピーク波長を有する第4スペクトル分布の光へ変換するように構成される第3発光材料;
を有し、
前記第3ピーク波長と前記第4ピーク波長はオレンジ/赤色スペクトル範囲内で、
前記第3ピーク波長は前記第4ピーク波長よりも短く、かつ、
前記第3スペクトル幅は前記第4スペクトル幅よりも広い、
燐光体変換発光ダイオード。 - 前記第2発光材料及び/又は前記第3発光材料が赤色発光Eu2+燐光体を有する、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第2発光材料が材料M2Si5N8:Eu2+を有し、かつ、
Mはアルカリ土類金属である、
請求項2に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。 - 前記第2発光材料が材料(Ca,Sr)AlSiN3:Eu2+を有する、請求項2に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第3発光材料が:
量子閉じ込めを示し、かつ、少なくとも1次元においてナノメートル範囲のサイズを有する粒子;
Mn4+イオンによって活性化されるヘキサフルオロシリケートである狭帯域赤色発光燐光体;及び
赤色発光燐光体CaS:Eu;
のうちの少なくとも一を有する、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。 - 前記第3ピーク波長が575nm乃至615nmの範囲内である、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第3スペクトル幅が半値全幅値として表される80nmよりも広い、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第3ピーク波長と前記第4ピーク波長との間での波長の差異が少なくとも10nmよりも大きい、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第4ピーク波長が610nmよりも長い、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第4スペクトル幅が半値全幅値として表される60nmよりも狭い、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオードであって、
第4発光材料によって放出される光の出力が、当該燐光体変換LEDによって放出されるすべての光の出力の20%未満である、
燐光体変換発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1発光材料が、ガーネットY3Al5O12:Ce3+、SiAlON燐光体、又は、YがGdで置換されたもの、又は、AlがGaで置換されたもの、又は、ガーネットの混合物のうちの一である緑色燐光体を有する、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 前記第1ピーク波長が440以上で、かつ、460nm以下である、請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード。
- 請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオードを有するランプ。
- 請求項1に記載の燐光体変換発光ダイオード又は請求項14に記載のランプを有する照明体。
