Claims (29)
- 第1主面及び前記第1主面と逆になる第2主面を持つベース部を含む電気絶縁層と、
前記電気絶縁層の前記第1主面に形成された第1電極と、
前記第1電極に電気的に連結され、前記電気絶縁層の外側に延びた第1リードと、
前記電気絶縁層の前記第2主面に形成され、前記第1電極と極性の異なる第2電極と、
前記第2電極に電気的に連結され、前記第1リードの延長方向と逆方向に延びた第2リードと、
前記第1電極及び第2電極のうち少なくともいずれか一つ上に密着された分離膜と、を含み、
前記電気絶縁層は、ベース部の前記第1主面のエッジの少なくとも一部に沿って形成された第1漏れ防止部と、前記第2主面のエッジの少なくとも一部に沿って形成された第2漏れ防止部とを含み、
前記電気絶縁層が前記第1リードと前記第2リードの延長方向と平行な巻取り軸を基準として少なくとも一回以上巻き取られたロール構造を有する電極組立体。 - 前記第1漏れ防止部は、前記ベース部のエッジのうち少なくとも前記巻取り軸の前記第2リードの延長方向側に垂直なエッジを取り囲み、
前記第2漏れ防止部は、前記ベース部のエッジのうち少なくとも前記巻取り軸の前記第1リードの延長方向側に垂直なエッジを取り囲むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。 - 前記第1漏れ防止部は、前記第1リードが配置されるエッジを除く残りのエッジを取り囲むように形成され、前記第1電極及び前記第1リードが前記第1漏れ防止部の内側に載置され、
前記第2漏れ防止部は、前記第2リードが配置されるエッジを除く残りのエッジを取り囲むように形成され、前記第2電極及び前記第2リードが前記第2漏れ防止部の内側に載置されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電極組立体。 - 前記第1電極は、
前記第1主面に形成された第1集電層と、
前記第1集電層に形成された第1活物質層と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。 - 前記第1リードは、前記第1集電層に電気的に直接連結されたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1リードは、前記第1集電層と一体に形成されたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第2電極は、
前記第2主面に形成された第2集電層と、
前記第2集電層に形成された第2活物質層と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。 - 前記第2リードは、前記第2集電層に電気的に直接連結されたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第2リードは、前記第2集電層と一体に形成されたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は、
ベース部を含む電気絶縁層と、前記電気絶縁層の一主面上に形成され、前記電極組立体の前記第1電極及び前記第2電極のうちいずれか一つに対向し、逆極性を持つ第3電極と、前記第3電極に電気的に連結され、前記電気絶縁層の外側に延びて突出した第3リードとを含むサブ電極組立体と、前記電極組立体の当該電極との間に更なる分離膜を挟んで巻き取られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。 - 前記サブ電極組立体は、前記サブ電極組立体の前記電気絶縁層の一主面のエッジの少なくとも一部に沿って形成された漏れ防止部を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記ロール構造の両端部にそれぞれ連続的に露出した前記第1リード及び前記第2リードのうち少なくともいずれか一つにより提供される複数のリード重なりを互いに物理的に接触させて電気的に連結することで、共通のリード部を提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1電極と前記第2電極のうち、前記ロール構造の最内側に配置される電極は、他の電極に比べて前記巻取り軸からより遠く離隔して配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電気絶縁層は、天然または合成の可撓性樹脂系材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 請求項1ないし14のうちいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体と、
前記電気絶縁層の一端に前記巻取り軸と平行な方向に配置されるロールコアと、
前記電極組立体及び前記ロールコアを収容するケースと、を含むことを特徴とする電池。 - 前記ロールコアは、中空円筒形または角形のパイプであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池。
- 前記ロールコアは、中空円筒形または角形のパイプであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池。
- 前記ロールコアの内部は、前記電池を冷却させるための冷却流路を提供することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の電池。
- 前記ロールコア及び前記ケースは、前記電極組立体と接触しない表面に絶縁被膜が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池。
- 前記ロールコア及び前記ケースの一側に、前記第1リードに電気的に連結された第1端子部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池。
- 前記第1端子部は、
前記ロールコア及び前記ケースを覆う第1カバーと、
前記第1カバーから外側に延びた突起と、
前記第1カバー及び前記突起に結合され、前記第1リードに電気的に連結された第1端子と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項20に記載の電池。 - 前記ロールコア及び前記ケースの他側に、前記第2リードに電気的に連結された第2端子部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池。
- 前記第2端子部は、
前記ロールコア及び前記ケースを覆う第2カバーと、
前記第2カバーに結合され、前記第2リードに電気的に連結された第2端子と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の電池。 - 前記ロールコア及び前記ケースの一側に、前記第1リードに電気的に連結された第1端子部をさらに含み、
前記ロールコア及び前記ケースの他側に、前記第2リードに電気的に連結された第2端子部をさらに含み、
前記第1端子部及び前記第2端子部は、相互間の挿入結合及び分離可能な凹溝を持つことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の電池。 - 前記第1及び第2端子部のうち少なくともいずれか一つに電圧センシング部が結合されたことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の電池。
- 前記第1及び第2端子部のうち少なくともいずれか一つに温度センシング部が結合されたことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の電池。
- 第1主面及び前記第1主面と逆になる第2主面を持つベース部を含む電気絶縁層と、前記電気絶縁層の前記第1主面に形成された第1電極と、前記第1電極に電気的に連結され、前記電気絶縁層の外側に延びた第1リードと、前記電気絶縁層の前記第2主面に形成され、前記第1電極と極性の異なる第2電極と、前記第2電極に電気的に連結され、前記第1リードの延長方向と逆方向に延びた第2リードと、前記第1電極及び第2電極のうち少なくともいずれか一つに密着された分離膜とを含む電極組立体を形成する段階と、
前記第1電極と前記第2電極とが前記分離膜を挟んで互いに対向して電気化学的反応領域を形成するように、ロールコアを巻取り軸としてロール構造を有するように前記電極組立体を巻き取る段階と、
