Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 切断された胸骨の露出端を被覆するための機器であって、前記露出端を被覆するように作動する細片と、前記露出端に対して前記細片を保持して前記露出端からの血の流れを止める又は少なくとも減じるように前記露出端の両側上に手動で変形可能である複数の柔軟部分を備える、機器。
- 前記複数の柔軟部分が前記細片から外方へ延びる、請求項1に記載の機器。
- 前記細片が、実質的に硬質の長手に延びる中央部分を有し、この周囲で前記複数の柔軟部分が広がる、請求項1又は2に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の柔軟部分がスカートの形態にある、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の柔軟部分が、異なるサイズ及び/又は形状の胸骨に順応するべく、その長さに沿う又はその範囲に渡る任意の場所で曲がることができる、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記露出端が受けるように配置される止血物質の層を更に備える、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記止血物質が、酸化セルロースポリマーから形成される、請求項6に記載の機器。
- 前記止血物質と前記細片の間に圧縮性層を更に備え、前記止血物質と前記露出端の間の並置を促進する、請求項6又は7に記載の機器。
- 前記実質的に硬質の部分が、前記切断された胸骨の対向端部の分離を維持するように開創器から力を伝達するために構成される、請求項3乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記実質的に硬質の部分が、前記胸骨の割裂を低減するべく前記露出端に亘り前記開創器からの力を分配する、請求項9に記載の機器。
- 前記機器の長手の屈曲を提供するための中間ヒンジを更に備える、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記細片及び柔軟部分が、ポリマーの被覆部内にカプセル化される、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記ポリマーがシリコーンである、請求項12に記載の機器。
- 切断された胸骨の露出端からの出血を低減する方法であって、当該方法が、
細片と柔軟保持要素を有する機器を提供し、前記細片が、前記露出端を被覆するように作動し;
前記露出端に対して前記細片を配置し;及び
前記露出端の両側上に前記保持要素を手動で変形し、前記露出端に対して前記細片を保持し、前記露出端からの血の流れを止める又は少なくとも減じるステップを含む、方法。 - 前記露出端を測定し、異なるサイズの機器群から適切なサイズの機器の組を選択するステップを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
