Claims (16)
- ディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)とディーゼル微粒子除去装置(DPF)を備える排ガス後処理システム内の電気ヒータを制御するヒータ制御モジュールであって、
エンジン負荷と前記DPFの状態に基づき複数の加熱モードから望ましい加熱モードを選択する加熱モード判定モジュール、
前記望ましい加熱モードに基づき前記電気ヒータを動作させるヒータ操作モジュール、
を備えることを特徴とするヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記複数の加熱モードは、受動再生加熱モードと能動再生加熱モードを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記電気ヒータは、前記DPFが能動再生しているとき、前記能動再生加熱モードで動作して差動加熱を提供する
ことを特徴とする請求項2記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記電気ヒータは、前記能動再生加熱モードで動作して排気管を交差する温度勾配を減少させる
ことを特徴とする請求項3記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記電気ヒータは、前記DPFが能動再生していないとき、前記受動再生加熱モードで動作して排ガスを所定温度まで加熱しNO2生成を増やす
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記電気ヒータは、前記エンジン負荷が低いとき、前記受動再生加熱モードで動作する
ことを特徴とする請求項5記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記低いエンジン負荷は、約10%である
ことを特徴とする請求項6記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記所定温度は、前記DOCの触媒特性に依拠する
ことを特徴とする請求項5記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記所定温度は、300〜460℃の範囲である
ことを特徴とする請求項8記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - 前記所定温度は、320〜380℃の範囲である
ことを特徴とする請求項8記載のヒータ制御モジュール。 - ディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)とディーゼル微粒子除去装置(DPF)を備える排ガス後処理システムにおける排ガスを加熱する方法であって、
前記DPFが能動再生していないとき、所定温度まで排ガスを加熱するステップ、
前記DPFが能動再生しているとき、前記排ガスを加熱して排ガス温度勾配を減少させるステップ、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記所定温度は、前記DOCの特性に依拠する
ことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。 - 前記DPFが能動再生していないとき、前記DOCの排出口におけるNO2濃度を増やすステップを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。 - 前記所定温度は、300〜460℃の範囲である
ことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。 - 前記所定温度は、320〜380℃の範囲である
ことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。 - 排気管の壁近傍においてより多くの熱を提供し、前記排気管の中心近傍においてより少ない熱を提供して、前記排ガス温度勾配を減少させるステップを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
