Abstract
Description
(a)電池セル活性化工程のための充電ピンの接続のために接続用開口区間を前記電池ケースの下端面に形成した状態で前記電池ケースの全体表面をアノダイジング(anodizing)コートする段階と、
(b)前記電池ケースの内部に電極組立体を装着し、前記電池ケースの開放上端にキャッププレートをレーザー溶接する段階と、
(c)前記キャッププレートの電解液注入口から電解液を注入し、電池セル活性化工程を行う段階と、
(d)前記電解液を補充した後、前記電解液注入口を封じる段階と、
を含んでなる。
(a1)前記電池ケースを脱脂溶液に浸漬した後、取り出して水洗する脱脂過程と、
(a2)前記電池ケースを酸洗浄液に浸漬した後、取り出して水洗する酸洗浄過程と、
(a3)前記電池ケースの表面に酸化被膜を形成するアノダイジングコーティング過程と、
を含むことができる。

前記電池セルの第2電極端子が露出されるように開口が設けられており、前記電池セルの上端面に装着される電気絶縁性の装着部材と、
保護回路が設けられており、前記装着部材上に搭載される印刷回路基板(PCB)、前記第1電極端子に接続される接続部材(A)、及び安全素子を介して前記第2電極端子に接続される接続部材(B)を有しており、前記接続部材(B)が露出されるような貫通口が前記印刷回路基板上に穿設されている保護回路モジュール(PCM)と、
前記接続部材と保護回路基板とが搭載された状態で絶縁性装着部材を覆いながら電池セルの上端部に結合される絶縁性キャップと、

前記保護回路モジュール及び絶縁性キャップの全体の高さが0.6mm以下である構造になっている。

Claims (22)
- 正極/分離膜/負極構造の電極組立体が電解液とともに、アルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金からなる電池ケースの内部に封止されている電池セルの製造方法であって、
(a)電池セル活性化工程のための充電ピンの接続のために接続用開口区間を前記電池ケースの下端面に形成した状態で前記電池ケースの全体表面をアノダイジングコートする段階と、
(b)前記電池ケースの内部に電極組立体を装着し、前記電池ケースの開放上端にキャッププレートをレーザー溶接する段階と、
(c)前記キャッププレートの電解液注入口から電解液を注入し、電池セル活性化工程を行う段階と、
(d)前記電解液を補充した後、前記電解液注入口を封じる段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記段階(a)は、
(a1)前記電池ケースを脱脂溶液に浸漬した後、取り出して水洗する脱脂過程と、
(a2)前記電池ケースを酸洗浄液に浸漬した後、取り出して水洗する酸洗浄過程と、
(a3)前記電池ケースの表面に酸化被膜を形成するアノダイジングコーティング過程と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記接続用開口区間が、平面視で円形又は多角形の形状であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記接続用開口区間が、前記電池ケースの下端面の一部に絶縁物質を塗布し、又は絶縁体又は絶縁テープを装着又は貼付した状態でアノダイジングコートした後、前記絶縁物質、前記絶縁体又は前記絶縁テープを除去することによって形成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 段階(d)の後に、前記接続用開口区間を絶縁部材で封止する過程をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記絶縁部材は、絶縁テープ、接着糊及びコーティング物からなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記電池セル活性化工程は、第1充電ピンを前記キャッププレートの上端電極端子に接続し、第2充電ピンを前記電池ケースの接続用開口区間に接続した状態で行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記段階(a)において、前記アノダイジングコートが、前記電池ケースの上端外周から下方に所定大きさの不コーティングマージン区間をおいた状態で行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記不コーティングマージン区間が、前記電池ケースの上端外周から下方に0.5から5mmの部分であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記不コーティングマージン区間が、前記電池ケース上に絶縁物質を塗布し、又は絶縁体又は絶縁テープを装着又は貼付した状態でアノダイジングコートした後、前記絶縁物質、前記絶縁体又は前記絶縁テープを除去することによって形成することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記段階(b)のレーザー溶接が、前記キャッププレートの上方で前記電池セルの外周面に沿って行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか1項による方法で製造されたことを特徴とする電池セル。
- 前記電池セルの上端面に第1及び第2電極端子が設けられたことを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項12に記載の電池セルと、
前記電池セルの第2電極端子が露出されるように開口が設けられており、前記電池セルの上端面に装着される電気絶縁性の装着部材と、
保護回路が設けられており、前記装着部材上に搭載される印刷回路基板、前記第1電極端子に接続される接続部材(A)、及び安全素子を介して前記第2電極端子に接続される接続部材(B)を有しており、前記接続部材(B)が露出されるような貫通口が前記印刷回路基板上に穿設されている保護回路モジュールと、
前記接続部材と保護回路基板とが搭載された状態で絶縁性装着部材を覆いながら電池セルの上端部に結合される絶縁性キャップと、
を備えており、
前記保護回路モジュール及び前記絶縁性キャップの全体の高さが0.6mm以下であることを特徴とする、二次電池パック。 - 前記第2電極端子が、前記電池セルの上端面の中央から突出している負極端子であり、前記第1電極端子は、前記負極端子を除いて前記電池セルの上端面に設けられている正極端子であることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記接続部材が、表面実装技術方式によって前記印刷回路基板の下面に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記接続部材(B)が、前記印刷回路基板の貫通口の下面に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記安全素子がPTC素子であり、前記PTC素子が、PTC本体、前記PTC本体の上面に結合されているPCM結合部、及び前記PTC本体の下面に結合されている電池セル結合部を有しており、前記PCM結合部が前記印刷回路基板の貫通口を通って接続部材(B)に結合されることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記接続部材(A)の一側端部が、上方に露出されるように前記印刷回路基板の外側縁よりも長く延びた状態で前記印刷回路基板の下面に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記電池セルへの前記印刷回路基板の装着安全性を提供するために、一側端部が前記印刷回路基板の下面に結合されており、他側端部が前記電池セルの上端面に結合される装着補助部材をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記装着補助部材が、前記接続部材(A)と対向する位置に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項20に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記装着補助部材が、一側端部が上方に露出されるように前記印刷回路基板の外周面よりも長く延びた状態で前記印刷回路基板の下面に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項20に記載の二次電池パック。
