Claims (16)
- 電池セルがセルカバーで覆われている構造の一つ以上の単位モジュールが垂直に立てられて積層された状態でモジュールケースに装着されている一つ以上の電池モジュールで構成された電池モジュール配列体と、
前記電池モジュール配列体が搭載されるベースプレートと、
下端が前記ベースプレートに固定された状態で前記電池モジュール配列体の両側面を支持する1対のエンドプレートと、
前記電池モジュール配列体とエンドプレートとの間に挟持され、前記電池モジュール配列体に対面する面には、外力に対する緩衝作用と冷媒流路の形成のための一つ以上のリブが設けられている絶縁部材と、
を備えることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記電池セルは、板状電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルは、ラミネート電池ケースに電極組立体が内蔵されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記単位モジュールは、2つ以上の電池セルが電極端子部位を除いてセルカバーで覆われていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記セルカバーの外面には冷媒流路の形成のための一つ以上のビードが設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールは、2つ以上の単位モジュールを含んでおり、最外側の単位モジュールの一側面が外部に開放される形状の上下部ケースの間に装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記エンドプレートは平面上において長方形になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 1対の前記エンドプレートの少なくともいずれか一方には、電池セルのスウェリングによる膨脹応力が電池セル又は単位モジュールの電極端子連結部位に集中してスウェリングが所定値以上になるとき、前記電極端子連結部位が破裂しながら断電となるように、電極端子連結部位に対応する箇所に開口が設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記絶縁部材は、単位モジュールの一側面に対応する板状構造の発泡体からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記発泡体はEPP(Extended Polypropylene)素材からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記セルカバーの外面には冷媒流路の形成のための一つ以上のビードが設けられており、前記絶縁部材のリブは前記セルカバーのビードに対面していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記絶縁部材は、電池パックの上下方向に配列された2つ以上のリブを有していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 2つ以上の前記リブの少なくともいずれか一方には、リブの両側部位が連通するように一つ以上の段差部が設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールの荷重を支持するように電池モジュール配列体の前面と後面にそれぞれ配置されており、且つ両端部が外部デバイスに締結される構造になっている1対の固定フレームをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1に記載の電池パックを電源として用いることを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、又は電力貯蔵装置であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のデバイス。
