Abstract
【解決手段】光プローブ10は、光ファイバ11、光偏向素子13、保護チューブ16を備える。光ファイバ11は、第一の直径を有する円形状であるガラスで構成され近位端と遠位端との間で光を伝送する線条体と、線条体の側面を被覆する樹脂層とを含み、線条体の遠位端から所定の長さの部分が樹脂層で被覆されていない。光偏向素子13は、第一の直径より大きい第二の直径を有する円形状であるガラスで構成され、光ファイバ11と接続され、中心軸に対して全反射臨界角より大きい角度を成す法線ベクトルを有する端面を有する。遠位端チューブ16は、光ファイバ11の所定の長さの部分および光偏向素子13の全長を包囲し、光偏向素子13の側面に密着し、光ファイバ11を被覆する部分の内径が光偏向素子13を被覆する部分の内径より小さい。

Claims (2)
- 中心軸に垂直な断面が第一の直径を有する円形状であるガラスで構成され近位端と遠位端との間で光を伝送する線条体と、前記線条体の側面を被覆する樹脂層とを含み、前記線条体の前記遠位端から所定の長さの部分が前記樹脂層で被覆されていない光ファイバと、
前記近位端において前記光ファイバと接続されている光コネクタと、
中心軸に垂直な断面が前記第一の直径より大きい第二の直径を有する円形状であるガラスで構成され、前記中心軸に垂直な断面内において前記中心軸から遠ざかるに従って屈折率が漸減する屈折率分布を有し、前記遠位端において前記光ファイバと第1端が接続され、第2端側で中心軸に対して全反射臨界角より大きい角度を成す法線ベクトルを有する端面を有する光偏向素子と、
前記光ファイバの前記所定の長さの部分および前記光偏向素子の全長を包囲し、前記光偏向素子の側面に密着し、前記光ファイバを被覆する部分の内径が前記光偏向素子を被覆する部分の内径より小さい遠位端チューブと、
前記光ファイバを包囲して光ファイバに沿って延び、前記光ファイバ、前記光コネクタおよび前記光偏向素子に対して回転自在であるジャケットチューブと、
を備える光プローブ。 - 前記光偏向素子の直径が前記光ファイバの線条体の直径の1.02倍〜1.10倍である請求項1に記載の光プローブ。
