本発明の光学的測定装置は、上記の光プローブと、波長帯域1.6μm〜1.8μmにおいて光を発生させる光源と、光源から発せられた光を2分岐して照明光および参照光として出力する光分岐部と、波長帯域において光を検出する光検出器と、波長帯域において光減衰スペクトルを分析して当該分析結果を画像情報として取得する分析部と、を含む。
そして、本発明の光学的測定装置は、光分岐部から出力された照明光を光ファイバの近位端に入射させ遠位端から出射させて対象物に照射し、その照射に伴い対象物で生じた後方反射光を光ファイバの遠位端に入射させ近位端から出射させて光検出器に導くとともに、光分岐部から出力された参照光をも光検出器に導いて、後方反射光と参照光とによる干渉光を光検出器により検出し、分析部により後方反射光のスペクトルを分析して対象物の断層構造の情報および対象物における物質の分布情報を得て、対象物の内部における物質の分布情報を断層画像情報として取得することを特徴とする。
Claims (1)
- 近位端と遠位端との間で光を伝送する光ファイバと、
前記近位端において前記光ファイバと接続されている光コネクタと、
前記遠位端において前記光ファイバと接続され、前記光ファイバの前記遠位端から出射される光を集光する集光光学系と、
前記遠位端において前記光ファイバと接続され、前記光ファイバの前記遠位端から出射される光を偏向する偏向光学系と、
前記光ファイバを包囲して前記光ファイバに沿って延び、前記光ファイバ,前記光コネクタ,前記集光光学系および前記偏向光学系に対して回転自在であるジャケットチューブと、
前記ジャケットチューブの内腔に充填された緩衝流体と、
を備え、
前記光ファイバが1.53μmより短いカットオフ波長を有し、
前記光ファイバ,前記集光光学系,前記偏向光学系,ならびに,前記光ファイバの基底モードに結合する光路上にある前記緩衝流体および前記ジャケットチューブが波長帯域1.6μm〜1.8μmにおいて−2dB〜0dBの光透過率を有し、
前記光ファイバ,前記集光光学系および前記偏向光学系それぞれが、石英ガラスまたはホウケイ酸ガラスで構成され、
前記緩衝流体が、生理食塩水,デキストラン水溶液またはシリコーンオイルであり、
前記ジャケットチューブが、FEP,PFA,PTFE,PETまたはナイロンで構成され、
前記偏向光学系と前記緩衝流体との界面および前記緩衝流体と前記ジャケットチューブとの界面のうち一方の界面での比屈折率差が他方の界面での比屈折率差に対して3.2倍以上異なる、
ことを特徴とする光プローブ。
