Abstract

Claims (10)
- 画像形成部材の表面に湿潤液の均一層を適用する工程と、
デジタル画像データによる湿潤液の部分を選択的に除去することによって湿潤液層をレーザーパターニングする工程と、
前記画像形成部材表面上のレーザーパターニングされた湿潤液層を、場合によりインクビヒクルと膨潤性のポリマー性ナノ粒子を含む水性不均質インクを用いてインキングし、インク画像を形成する工程と、
を含む、インク系デジタル印刷のための方法。 - 湿潤液の均一層を画像形成部材の表面に適用する工程と、
デジタル画像データによって湿潤液の部分を選択的に除去することによって前記湿潤液層をレーザーパターニングする工程と、
場合によりインクビヒクルと膨潤性のポリマー性ナノ粒子を含む水性不均質インクを用いて、前記画像形成部材表面上の前記レーザーパターニングされた湿潤液層をインキングし、インク画像を形成する工程であって、前記水性不均質インクが、前記インクが前記画像形成部材表面から転写される前に自己融合する工程と、
を含むインク系デジタル印刷のための方法。 - 前記水性不均質インクが、サイズが1ミクロン未満、または500nm未満、または200nm未満または20nm未満の自己融合ナノポリマー粒子または同じ範囲にわたって二峰性または三峰性分布を形成するナノ粒子の混合物を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記水性不均質インクが水性分散性ポリマーインクである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水性不均質インクがラテックスポリマーインクである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記画像形成部材表面がシリコーンまたはフルオロシリコーンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記画像形成部材表面がフルオロエラストマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記湿潤液層が非水性液体を含み、前記非水性液体が、約20℃〜約50℃の温度範囲内において水と実質的に混和性でない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記インキング後に、前記インク画像を、前記画像形成部材表面から印刷可能な基材に転写する工程であって、前記インクが、前記インキングと前記インク画像の転写との間の期間中に部分的に融合する工程
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記部分的な融合が、熱、場合により非接触加熱、光放射線、エアフローまたはこれらの刺激のいずれか2つまたは3つの組み合わせの適用である外部刺激によって補助され得る、請求項9に記載の方法。
