Claims (7)
- 内燃機関(1)を動作させる方法であって、前記機関は、中にピストン(15)を有する少なくとも1つのシリンダ(2)を有し、前記ピストン(15)は、クランクシャフトに連結され、前記機関の動作中に上死点(TDC)と下死点(BDC)との間で往復運動しており、前記シリンダ(2)は、吸気および排気用の空気通路開口(10、12)を有し、液体非自動点火燃料が、圧縮ストローク中に前記シリンダ(2)のシリンダライナ(2’)にて噴射位置から前記シリンダ(2)内に噴射され、その際に、前記空気通路開口(10、12)は閉じられ、前記ピストンは前記噴射位置の下方に位置し、点火デバイスが、前記液体非自動点火燃料を点火するように作動される、方法において、前記液体非自動点火燃料は、前記機関の動作中に前記ピストン(15)により交互に覆われる噴射位置から上死点(TDC)前に少なくとも90°のクランク角にて噴射され、前記クランクシャフトは、100%の機関負荷で40〜1200rpmの範囲の回転速度にて回転することを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記内燃機関(1)は、低速で2ストロークのクロスヘッド式ディーゼル型内燃機関であり、前記少なくとも1つのシリンダ(2)は、吸気に前記空気通路開口を提供する掃気ポート(12)を有するシリンダライナ(2’)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内燃機関(1)は、中速の4ストローク内燃機関であり、前記少なくとも1つのシリンダは、吸気および排気のそれぞれに前記空気通路開口を提供する少なくとも1つの吸気弁と少なくとも1つの排気弁とを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記点火デバイス(5’)は、自動点火燃料用の燃料インジェクタ、燃料点火要素、および電気火花要素からなる群より選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記液体非自動点火燃料は、動作サイクル中に前記シリンダに供給される燃料の全量の一部分を構成し、前記液体非自動点火燃料は、前記圧縮ストロークの終了時に前記シリンダ内に自動点火燃料を噴射することによって点火されることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 中にピストン(15)を有する少なくとも1つのシリンダ(2)を有する内燃機関(1)であって、前記ピストン(15)は、クランクシャフトに連結され、前記ピストン(15)は、上死点(TDC)と下死点(BDC)との間で往復運動し、前記シリンダ(2)は、吸気および排気用の空気通路開口(10、12)を有し、前記開口は、上死点(TDC)に向かう前記ピストンの圧縮ストロークの少なくとも大部分の間にわたり閉じられ、前記内燃機関は、前記シリンダ(2)内に液体非自動点火燃料を噴射するための少なくとも1つの液体非自動点火燃料インジェクタ(26)と、前記空気通路開口が閉じられている間、前記圧縮ストローク中に前記シリンダ(2)内に前記液体非自動点火燃料を噴射するように前記インジェクタ(26)を制御するための手段とを有し、前記少なくとも1つの液体非自動点火燃料インジェクタ(26)は、噴射位置においてシリンダライナ(2’)内に位置決めされる、内燃機関(1)において、前記少なくとも1つの液体非自動点火燃料インジェクタ(26)の前記噴射位置は、前記ピストンが上死点(TDC)後のBDCにわたる50°から、上死点(TDC)前の50°までのクランク角の間隔内にある場合に、前記ピストン(15)により覆われる位置にて前記シリンダライナ(2’)に位置決めされ、前記機関は、100%の機関負荷にて40〜1200rpmの範囲内の回転速度を有することを特徴とする、内燃機関(1)。
- 前記シリンダライナ(2’)は、前記シリンダライナ(2’)の軸方向端部同士の中間の中間位置にて機関フレーム(3)により支持され、前記シリンダライナ(2’)は、前記シリンダライナ(2’)の下方端部と前記中間位置との間に位置決めされた掃気ポート(12)を備え、前記少なくとも1つの液体非自動点火燃料インジェクタ(26)は、前記掃気ポート(12)と前記中間位置との間に位置決めされることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の内燃機関。
