Abstract
【解決手段】排気中のPMを捕集するDPF52と、DPF52の下流側に設けられ、電極22間に付着したPMを流れる電流値からPM量を検出すると共に、付着したPMを燃焼除去する再生が可能な抵抗型PMセンサ20と、センサ20の再生終了から次の再生開始までの実インターバルを演算する実再生インターバル演算部41、DPF52を正常と仮定してDPF52を通過する排気中のPMスリップ量を推定するPMスリップ量演算部43と、PMスリップ量に基づいて、センサ20の再生終了から次の再生開始までの推定インターバルを演算する推定再生インターバル演算部45と、実インターバルと推定インターバルとを比較してDPF52の故障又は正常を判定するDPF故障正常判定部46とを備えた。

Claims (7)
- 内燃機関から排出される排気中の粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタと、
前記フィルタの下流側に設けられ、電極間に付着した粒子状物質を流れる電流値から粒子状物質量を検出すると共に、電極間に付着した粒子状物質が所定量に達すると当該粒子状物質を燃焼除去する再生が可能なセンサと、
前記センサの再生終了から次の再生開始までの実インターバルを演算する実インターバル演算手段と、
前記フィルタの捕集能力が正常と仮定し、前記内燃機関から排出されて当該フィルタを通過する排気中の粒子状物質スリップ量を推定するスリップ量推定手段と、
前記粒子状物質スリップ量に基づいて、前記センサの再生終了から次の再生開始までの推定インターバルを演算する推定インターバル演算手段と、
前記実インターバルと前記推定インターバルとを比較して、前記フィルタの少なくとも故障を判定する判定手段と、を備える
ことを特徴とする診断装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記推定インターバルの演算が終了してから所定の閾値時間が経過しても、前記フィルタの再生が開始されない場合は、前記フィルタを正常と判定する
請求項1に記載の診断装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記実インターバルの演算が終了してから所定の閾値時間が経過しても、前記推定インターバルの演算が終了しない場合は、前記フィルタを故障と判定する
請求項1又は2に記載の診断装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記実インターバルと前記推定インターバルとの差が所定の上限閾値を超えると、前記フィルタを故障と判定する
請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の診断装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記実インターバルと前記推定インターバルとの比が所定の上限閾値を超えると、前記フィルタを故障と判定する
請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の診断装置。 - 前記スリップ量推定手段は、前記内燃機関の運転状態に応じて変化する吸排気状態量を入力値として含むモデル式から前記粒子状物質スリップ量を推定する
請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の診断装置。 - 前記内燃機関の始動時に前記センサを強制的に再生させる
請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の診断装置。
