Abstract
Description
モータ制御装置(100)は、
モータ(12)を起動後の駆動回路部(40A)の発熱特性および吸入冷媒による駆動回路部の冷却特性に基づいて設定されたモータを起動する際の駆動パターンであって、駆動回路部の温度が許容上限温度を超えないようにモータへの供給電力を制限してモータを駆動する制限駆動制御を可能とする所定駆動パターンを、予め記憶しており、
モータの起動時に、駆動回路部の温度もしくはその関連温度を検出する温度検出手段(41)が検出した温度が所定温度以上である場合には、冷凍サイクル制御装置(101)からのモータの駆動状態指令に係らず所定駆動パターンに従ってモータを制限駆動制御し、制限駆動制御が終了した後に、駆動状態指令に基づいてモータを駆動する通常駆動制御へ移行することを特徴としている。
本発明を適用した第1の実施形態について、図1〜図6を参照して説明する。

Claims (4)
- 冷凍サイクルの冷媒を吸入圧縮する圧縮機構(11)と、
前記圧縮機構を駆動する電動式のモータ(12)と、
前記圧縮機構が吸入する吸入冷媒により冷却可能な位置に配置され、前記モータに電力を供給して前記モータを駆動する駆動回路部(40A)と、
前記駆動回路部の温度もしくはその関連温度を検出する温度検出手段(41)と、
前記駆動回路部に設けられ、前記冷凍サイクルを制御する冷凍サイクル制御装置(101)が出力する前記モータの駆動状態指令に基づいて前記モータの駆動状態を制御するモータ制御装置(100)と、を備え、
前記モータ制御装置は、
前記モータを起動後の前記駆動回路部の発熱特性および前記吸入冷媒による前記駆動回路部の冷却特性に基づいて設定された前記モータを起動する際の駆動パターンであって、前記駆動回路部の温度が許容上限温度を超えないように前記モータへの供給電力を制限して前記モータを駆動する制限駆動制御を可能とする所定駆動パターンを、予め記憶しており、
前記モータの起動時に前記温度検出手段が検出した温度が所定温度以上である場合には、前記駆動状態指令に係らず前記所定駆動パターンに従って前記制限駆動制御を行い、前記制限駆動制御が終了した後に、前記駆動状態指令に基づいて前記モータを駆動する通常駆動制御へ移行することを特徴とする電動圧縮機。 - 前記所定駆動パターンは、
前記制限駆動制御から前記通常駆動制御への移行時の前記供給電力の増大に伴う前記駆動回路部の発熱量増加分に基づいて、前記駆動回路部の温度が前記許容上限温度を超えないように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動圧縮機。 - 前記所定駆動パターンは、
第1ステップと前記第1ステップから移行する第2ステップとを有し、前記第2ステップにおける前記供給電力は、前記第1ステップにおける前記供給電力よりも大きくなるようになっており、
前記第1ステップから前記第2ステップへの移行時の前記供給電力の増大に伴う前記駆動回路部の発熱量増加分に基づいて、前記駆動回路部の温度が前記許容上限温度を超えないように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動圧縮機。 - 車両に搭載されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1つに記載の電動圧縮機。
