Claims (25)
- 更に医薬として許容される担体を含有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物であって、対象における癌の判定の方法に使用され、当該方法が:
当該組成物が投与された対象を提供する工程;及び
当該対象中の蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物を判定することにより、当該対象中の癌を判定する工程;
を含む、当該診断用組成物。 - 前記対象がヒトである、請求項6に記載の診断用組成物。
- 前記癌が、メラノーマ、結腸直腸腺癌、子宮癌、膵臓癌、卵巣癌、グリア芽腫、明細胞癌、及び前立腺癌からなる群から選択される、請求項6又は7のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物。
- 蛍光を使用して判定される、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物であって、対象内の蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物の検出の方法に使用され、当該方法が:
当該組成物が投与された対象を提供する工程;及び
当該対象内の器官内の当該蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物の保持を判定する工程;
を含む、当該診断用組成物。 - 前記対象がヒトである、請求項10に記載の診断用組成物。
- 蛍光を使用して判定される、請求項10又は11のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物。
- 前記器官が、結腸、直腸、小腸、食道、胃、十二指腸、子宮、膵臓及び総胆管、気管支、食道、口腔、洞(sinus)、肺、膀胱、腎臓、腹腔、並びに胸腔からなる群から選択される、請求項10〜12のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物。
- 前記方法が、更に、前記診断用組成物を対象に投与することを含む、請求項6〜13のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物であって、癌治療を実施している患者における残存する悪性幹細胞の存在を判定する方法に使用され、当該方法が:
(a)当該癌治療を実施している患者に当該診断用組成物を投与する工程;
(b)当該癌治療の前に悪性と判断された組織を画像化する工程;及び
(c)当該組織中の前記蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物の蓄積を評価する工程;
を含み、当該組織中の前記蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物の蓄積が、残存する悪性幹細胞の存在の可能性を示す、当該診断用組成物。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の診断用組成物であって、癌治療を実施している患者における残存する悪性幹細胞の存在を判定する方法に使用され、当該方法が:
(a)当該癌治療を実施している患者に由来する病理標本を提供する工程;
(b)当該病理標本を、当該診断用組成物でインキュベーションする工程;及び
(c)当該病理標本中の前記蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物の分布を画像化する工程;
を含み、当該標本中の前記蛍光リン脂質エーテル化合物の蓄積が、残存する悪性幹細胞の存在の可能性を示す、当該診断用組成物。 - 前記対象がヒトである、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記癌が、メラノーマ、結腸直腸腺癌、子宮癌、膵臓癌、卵巣癌、グリア芽腫、明細胞癌、及び前立腺癌からなる群から選択される、請求項18〜24のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
