Abstract
Description
・水素化した糖の乾燥物に基づき計算して少なくとも25重量%のマルチトールを含む水素化した糖の混合物、及び、
・少なくとも1種の多官能性架橋剤、
を含むサイジング組成物である。
「ポリアルデヒド」とは、少なくとも2つのアルデヒド官能基を含むアルデヒドを意味するものと理解される。
・0〜2部のシラン、特にアミノシラン
・0〜20部、好ましくは4〜15部の、油
・0〜5部の疎水性物質、特にシリコーン
・0〜20部の、水素化した糖以外のポリオール
・0〜30部、好ましくは0〜20部の、尿素
・リグニン誘導体、例えばリグノスルホン酸アンモニウム(ALS)又はリグノスルホン酸ナトリウムなど、及び動物性又は植物性タンパク質から選ばれる、0〜30部の「増量剤」
・架橋開始温度(TC)を、ポリマー材料の粘弾性挙動特性を調べるのを可能にする動的機械分析(DMA)法により測定する。手順は次のとおりである。ワットマン紙の試料にサイジング組成物(40%程度の有機固形分含有量)を含浸させ、次いで試料を2つのあごの間で水平に固定する。加えたひずみに応じて応力を測定するための装置を備えた振動する部品を、試料の上面に配置する。この装置は弾性率E’を計算するのを可能にする。試料を、20℃から250℃まで変動する温度に4℃/minの速度で加熱する。弾性率E’(MPa単位)の変動する曲線を温度(℃単位)の関数として、測定の開始時からプロットし、曲線の一般的な様子を図1に示す。架橋開始温度(TC)に相当する℃単位の値を曲線上で求める。
・mPa・s単位で表した粘度を、プレート/プレート回転タイプのレオメーターを使い、25℃で100s-1の剪断速度で測定する。試料の固形分含有量は40重量%である。
・引張強さを、絶縁製品から打ち抜いて切り取った試料についてASTM C 686−71Tの標準規格に従って測定する。試料の形状は、長さが122mm、幅が46mmであり、外側のへりの切り取りの曲率半径が38mmに等しく、内側のへりの切り取りの曲率半径が12.5mmに等しい円環体である。
表1に見られる重量部で表した構成成分を含むサイジング組成物を調製する。
表3に見られるサイジング組成物を使用するよう変更して、例1〜6と同じ条件下でグラスウールを基礎材料とする絶縁製品を製造する。
Claims (21)
- ミネラルウール、とりわけロックウール又はガラスウール、を基礎材料とする絶縁製品のためのサイジング組成物であって、
・水素化した糖の乾燥物に基づき計算して少なくとも25重量%のマルチトールを含む水素化した糖の混合物、及び、
・少なくとも1種の多官能性架橋剤、
を含むことを特徴とするサイジング組成物。 - 水素化した糖が、単糖、線状、環式又は枝分かれしたオリゴ糖及び多糖から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 水素化した糖が、エリトリトール、アラビトール、キシリトール、ソルビトール、マンニトール、イジトール、イソマルチトール、ラクチトール、セロビトール、パラチニトール、マルトトリオール、及びデンプン加水分解物の水素化からの生成物であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の組成物。
- 水素化した糖がデンプン加水分解物の水素化からの生成物であることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の組成物。
- 水素化した糖が、5重量%(乾燥ベースで)を超えない、好ましくは1重量%を超えない、更に好ましくは0.5重量%を超えない割合で還元糖を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4の1つに記載の組成物。
- 多官能性架橋剤が、有機ポリカルボン酸又はこれらの酸の塩、無水物及びポリアルデヒドから選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の1つに記載の組成物。
- 有機ポリカルボン酸が、少なくとも2つのカルボキシル官能基、好ましくは最大で300のカルボキシル官能基、有利には最大で70のカルボキシル官能基、より有利には最大で15のカルボキシル官能基を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6記載の組成物。
- 有機ポリカルボン酸が、50000以下の数平均モル質量、好ましくは10000以下、有利には5000以下の数平均モル質量を示すことを特徴とする、請求項7記載の組成物。
- 有機ポリカルボン酸が、飽和又は不飽和の線状又は枝分かれした非環式の非ポリマー有機ポリカルボン酸、環式の酸又は芳香族酸から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項6〜8の1つに記載の組成物。
- 有機ポリカルボン酸が、ジカルボン酸、特にシュウ酸、マロン酸、コハク酸、グルタル酸、アジピン酸、ピメリン酸、スベリン酸、アゼライン酸、セバシン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、タルトロン酸、アスパラギン酸、グルタミン酸、フマル酸、イタコン酸、マレイン酸、トラウマチン酸、ショウノウ酸、フタル酸とその誘導体、特に少なくとも1つのホウ素又は塩素原子を含むもの、テトラヒドロフタル酸とその誘導体、特に少なくとも1つの塩素原子を含むもの、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、メサコン酸及びシトラコン酸から、また、トリカルボン酸、特にクエン酸、トリカルバリル酸、1,2,4−ブタントリカルボン酸、アコニット酸、ヘミメリット酸、トリメリット酸及びトリメシン酸から、及びテトラカルボン酸、特に1,2,3,4−ブタンテトラカルボン酸及びピロメリット酸から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項9記載の組成物。
- 有機ポリカルボン酸が、ポリマーの有機ポリカルボン酸、特に不飽和カルボン酸のホモポリマー及び少なくとも1種の不飽和カルボン酸と少なくとも1種のビニルモノマーとのコポリマー、から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項6〜8の1つに記載の組成物。
- 不飽和カルボン酸が、(メタ)アクリル酸、クロトン酸、イソクロトン酸、マレイン酸、桂皮酸、2−メチルマレイン酸、フマル酸、イタコン酸、2−メチルイタコン酸、α,β−メチレングルタル酸及び不飽和ジカルボン酸モノマーであり、ビニルモノマーが、不置換のスチレンあるいはアルキル、ヒドロキシルもしくはスルホニル基で置換した又はハロゲン原子で置換したスチレン、(メタ)アクリロニトリル、不置換の(メタ)アクリルアミドあるいはC1〜C10アルキル基で置換した(メタ)アクリルアミド、アルキル(メタ)アクリレート、グリシジル(メタ)アクリレート、ブタジエン及びビニルエステルであることを特徴とする、請求項11記載の組成物。
- 無水物が無水マレイン酸、無水コハク酸又は無水フタル酸であることを特徴とする、請求項6記載の組成物。
- ポリアルデヒドが非ポリマーのジアルデヒド、特にグリオキサ−ル、グルタルアリデヒド、1,6−ヘキサンジアール又は1,4−テレフタルアルデヒドであることを特徴とする、請求項6記載の組成物。
- ポリアルデヒドのアルデヒド官能基が尿素又は環式尿素によりマスクされていることを特徴とする、請求項14記載の組成物。
- 水素化した糖が、水素化した糖と多官能性架橋剤とから構成される混合物の重量の10〜90%、好ましくは少なくとも20%、特に20〜85%、有利には少なくとも30%、特に30〜80%に相当することを特徴とする、請求項1〜15の1つに記載の組成物。
- ルイス酸、ルイス塩基、リンを含む化合物及びフッ素とホウ素を含む化合物から選ばれる触媒を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜16の1つに記載の組成物。
- 触媒が、水素化した糖と多官能性架橋剤の重量の最大で20%まで、好ましくは10%まで、有利には少なくとも1%までに相当することを特徴とする、請求項17記載の組成物。
- 下記の添加剤を、水素化した糖と多官能性架橋剤の100重量部を基に計算して下記の割合でもって更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜17の1つに記載の組成物。
・0〜2部のシラン、特にアミノシラン
・0〜20部、好ましくは4〜15部の、油
・0〜5部の疎水性物質、特にシリコーン
・0〜20部の、水素化した糖以外のポリオール
・0〜30部、好ましくは0〜20部の、尿素
・リグニン誘導体、例えばリグノスルホン酸アンモニウム(ALS)又はリグノスルホン酸ナトリウムなど、及び動物性又は植物性タンパク質から選ばれる、0〜30部の「増量剤」 - 請求項1〜19の1つに記載のサイジング組成物を使ってサイズ処理した、ミネラルウール、とりわけガラスウール又はロックウール、を基礎材料とする防音及び/又は断熱製品。
- 請求項1〜19の1つに記載のサイジング組成物を使ってサイズ処理した、ミネラルウールの、とりわけガラスウール又はロックウールの、ベール。
