Claims (15)

  1. 無線システムにおいて、1つ以上のユーザ機器(UE)の位置を判定する方法であって、前記方法は、
    測位基準信号が、第1の動作モードで使用可能であることを判定する工程と、
    非測位基準信号が、第2の動作モードで使用可能であることを判定する工程と、
    記第1の動作モード、前記第2の動作モード、または前記第1の動作モードと前記第2の動作モードとの組み合わせを前記無線システムの動作モードとして選択する工程と、
    前記1つ以上のUE内の各UEの位置を計算するように、前記選択された動作モードを利用する工程と
    を包含する、方法。
  2. 選択する工程が、タイミング情報、スケジューリング、測定のための候補セル、エミッタIDの1つ以上を含むネットワークパラメータに基づく、請求項1に記載の方法。
  3. 非測位基準信号は、セル特有の基準信号(CRS)とサウンディング基準信号(SRS)の1つ以上を含み、測位基準信号は測位基準信号(PRS)とSRSの1つ以上を含み、測位基準信号と非測位基準信号はネットワークにより構成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
  4. 位置の計算は位置整合方法の1つ以上によって改善される、請求項1に記載の方法。
  5. 無線システムは、ロケートサーバユニット(LSU)、E−SMLCサーバ、およびロケーションサービス(LCS)システムの1つ以上の機能を含むように構成されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
  6. LSUまたはE−SMLCサーバは、無線システムにおいて、DAS、フェムトセル、スモールセル、1つ以上のUE、または1つ以上のセル塔の1つ以上のタイミングオフセットを計算するようにさらに構成されている、請求項5に記載の方法。
  7. LSUまたはE−SMLCサーバは、1つ以上のUEの測距および位置をLTEネットワークに提供する、請求項5に記載の方法。
  8. 位置計算は、1つ以上の到来角と到達時間差を利用することを包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
  9. 位置計算は、到来角と複数のアンテナに関する到達時間差の組み合わせを利用することを包含する、請求項4乃至8に記載の方法。
  10. 無線システムにおけるDAS、フェムトセル、スモールセル、1つ以上のUE、または1つ以上のセル塔は、LSUの機能を含めるように構成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
  11. 無線ネットワークデバイスを追跡し、位置検出するシステムであって、
    前記無線ネットワークデバイスの1つ以上の測距信号を受信し、処理するように構成されており、かつ、前記無線ネットワークデバイス間で測距を行うことにより、前記無線ネットワークデバイスを位置検出するように構成されているマルチパス緩和プロセッサと、
    前記システムが動作可能な場合にマルチパス緩和プロセッサに通信可能に結合されているメモリと
    を備え、
    前記メモリは、マルチパス緩和プロセッサの命令を有し、前記命令は、前記マルチパス緩和プロセッサ上で実行された場合、少なくとも、
    基準信号が、第1の動作モードで使用可能であることを判定することと、
    基準信号が、第2の動作モードで使用可能であることを判定することと、
    前記第1の動作モード、前記第2の動作モード、または前記第1の動作モードと前記第2の動作モードとの組み合わせを動作モードとして選択することと、
    無線ネットワークおよび前記無線ネットワークに接続された前記無線ネットワークデバイスの1つ以上の基準信号を受信し、処理することと、
    前記選択された動作モードと前記1つ以上の基準信号とを用いることにより、前記無線ネットワークデバイスの測距を実行し、前記無線ネットワークデバイスの位置を計算することと、
    前記無線ネットワークデバイスの測距における空間的曖昧さを低減することと、
    コヒーレント加算、非コヒーレント加算、整合フィルタリング、および時間ダイバーシティの1つ以上を介してノイズを低減することと、
    1つ以上の後処理技術と位置整合アルゴリズムとを適用することによってマルチパス干渉を低減することと、
    前記選択された動作モードを用いることにより、前記無線ネットワークデバイスの位置を計算することと
    を前記システムにさせる、システム。
  12. 後処理技術は、最尤推定(ビタビアルゴリズム)および最小分散推定(カルマンフィルタ)を含む、請求項11に記載のシステム。
  13. 命令は、前記システムに前記無線ネットワークからRTT(往復遅延時間)の測定を受信するようにさせる、請求項11に記載のシステム。
  14. 命令は、前記システムにTOA(到達時間)の測定、AOA(到来角)の測定、およびDTOA(到着時間差)の測定を生成するようにさせる、請求項11に記載のシステム。
  15. 1つ以上の信号はパイロット信号を含む、請求項11に記載のシステム。
