Abstract
Description
本発明は、概して、適合的ノイズキャンセレーション(ANC)を含む、例えば、無線電話機のようなパーソナルオーディオデバイスに関し、より詳細には、ソースオーディオが存在していないか、または、振幅が低い場合、二次経路推定の連続した適合を提供するために、注入されたノイズを用いるパーソナルオーディオデバイスにおけるANCの制御に関する。
無線電話機(例えば、移動/携帯電話)、コードレス電話、および、例えばmp3プレイヤのような他の消費者オーディオデバイスが、広く用いられている。了解度に関するそのようなデバイスの性能は、周囲の音響イベントを測定するためにマイクロフォンを用い、次に、周囲の音響イベントをキャンセルするためにデバイスの出力の中にアンチノイズ信号を挿入するために信号処理を用い、ノイズキャンセリングを提供することによって改善されることができる。
本発明は、例えば無線電話機のようなパーソナルオーディオデバイスにおいて実装されることができるノイズキャンセリング技術および回路を包含する。パーソナルオーディオデバイスは、適合的ノイズキャンセリング(ANC)回路を含み、適合的ノイズキャンセリング(ANC)回路は、周囲の音響環境を測定し、周囲の音響イベントをキャンセルするためにスピーカ(または他のトランスデューサ)出力の中に注入される信号を生成する。基準マイクロフォンが、周囲の音響環境を測定するために提供され、エラーマイクロフォンが、周囲のオーディオ、および、トランスデューサにおけるトランスデューサ出力を測定するために、従って、ノイズキャセレーションの効果の指示を与えるために含まれる。二次経路推定適合的フィルタが、エラーマイクロフォン信号から再生オーディオを除去することによりエラー信号を生成するために用いられる。しかし、パーソナルオーディオデバイスによって再生されるオーディオ信号(例えば、電話での会話中におけるダウンリンクオーディオ、または、メディアファイル/接続からの再生オーディオ)の存在(およびレベル)次第で、二次経路適合的フィルタは、二次経路を推定するために適合することを続けることができないことがある。従って、本発明は、リスナに気付かれないレベルのままでありながら、二次経路推定適合的フィルタが適合を続けるために充分なエネルギーを提供するために、注入されるノイズを用いる。

Claims (24)
- パーソナルオーディオデバイスであって、該パーソナルオーディオデバイスは、
パーソナルオーディオデバイス筐体と、
オーディオ信号を再生するために該筐体に設置されているトランスデューサであって、該オーディオ信号は、リスナへの再生のためのソースオーディオと、該トランスデューサの音響出力における周囲のオーディオサウンドの影響を打ち消すためのアンチノイズ信号との両方を含む、トランスデューサと、
該周囲のオーディオサウンドを示す基準マイクロフォン信号を提供するために該筐体に設置されている基準マイクロフォンと、
該トランスデューサの音響出力および該トランスデューサにおける該周囲のオーディオサウンドを示すエラーマイクロフォン信号を提供するために、該トランスデューサの近くにおいて該筐体に設置されている、エラーマイクロフォンと、
ノイズ信号を提供するための制御可能なノイズソース(noise source)と、
処理回路であって、該処理回路は、エラー信号および該基準マイクロフォン信号に従い、該基準信号から、該リスナによって聞き取られる該周囲のオーディオサウンドの存在を低減するための該アンチノイズ信号を生成する、処理回路と、
を備え、該処理回路は、該ソースオーディオを成形する二次経路応答を有する二次経路適合的フィルタと、コンバイナとを実装し、該コンバイナは、該エラー信号を提供するために、該エラーマイクロフォン信号から該ソースオーディオを除去し、該処理回路は、該ソースオーディオが、存在しないか、または、低減された振幅を有する場合、該ソースオーディオの代わりに、または、該ソースオーディオとの組み合わせで、該ノイズジェネレータから、該二次経路適合的フィルタおよび該ドランスデューサによって再生される該オーディオ信号の中にノイズを注入することにより、該二次経路適合的フィルタに適合することを続けさせ、該処理回路は、該二次経路適合的フィルタの出力に従い、該制御可能なノイズソースを制御する、
パーソナルオーディオデバイス。 - 前記処理回路は、前記二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅を測定し、該二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅が、閾値振幅を超過する場合、前記制御可能なノイズソースを変更する、請求項1に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- 前記処理回路は、前記二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅が、前記閾値振幅を超過する場合、前記ノイズ信号に適用されるゲインを調節する、請求項2に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- 前記処理回路は、前記二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅が、前記閾値振幅を超過する場合、前記ノイズ信号の注入を不能にする、請求項2に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- 前記処理回路は、さらに、前記エラー信号の振幅から前記閾値振幅を決定し、該閾値振幅は、該エラー信号の振幅に従って動的に調節される、請求項2に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- 前記閾値振幅は、前記エラー信号の振幅より20dB低いレベルである、請求項5に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- 前記処理回路は、前記ソースオーディオの振幅が、閾値振幅より低いことを検出し、該処理回路は、該ソースオーディオの振幅が、該閾値振幅より低い場合、前記制御可能なノイズソースを変更することのみを行う、請求項1に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- 前記処理回路は、応答を有する適合的フィルタを実装し、該応答は、前記基準信号から、前記リスナによって聞き取られる前記周囲のオーディオサウンドの存在を低減するための前記アンチノイズ信号を生成し、該処理回路は、前記エラー信号および前記基準マイクロフォン信号に従い、該適合的フィルタの該応答を成形する、請求項1に記載のパーソナルオーディオデバイス。
- パーソナルオーディオデバイスのトランスデューサの近くにおける周囲のオーディオサウンドをキャンセルする方法であって、該方法は、
基準マイクロフォン信号を生成するために、基準マイクロフォンを用いて、該周囲のオーディオサウンドの第1の測定を行うことと、
エラーマイクロフォンを用いて、該トランスデューサの出力および該トランスデューサにおける該周囲のオーディオサウンドの第2の測定を行うことと、
該第1の測定および該第2の測定の結果から、該トランスデューサの音響出力における該周囲のオーディオサウンドの影響を打ち消すためのアンチノイズ信号を適合的に生成することと、
該アンチノイズ信号をソースオーディオ信号と組み合わせることにより、該トランスデューサに提供されるオーディオ信号を生成することと、
二次経路応答により、該ソースオーディオのコピーを成形することと、
該エラーマイクロフォン信号から、該ソースオーディオのコピーを該成形することの結果を除去することにより、該リスナに送達される該組み合わされたアンチノイズと周囲のオーディオサウンドとを示すエラー信号を生成することと、
ノイズ信号を生成することと、
該ソースオーディオが、存在しないか、または、低減された振幅を有する場合、該ソースオーディオの代わりに、または、該ソースオーディオとの組み合わせで、該二次経路適合的フィルタおよび該ドランスデューサによって再生される該オーディオ信号の中に該ノイズ信号を注入することにより、該二次経路適合的フィルタに適合することを続けさせ、該二次経路適合的フィルタの出力に従い、該制御可能なノイズソース(noise source)を制御することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅を測定することをさらに含み、該二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅が、閾値振幅を超過する場合、前記制御可能なノイズソースを前記制御することは、該制御可能なノイズソースを調節する、請求項9に記載の方法。

- 前記処理回路は、前記二次経路適合的フィルタの出力の振幅が、前記閾値振幅を超過する場合、前記ノイズ信号の注入を不能にする、請求項18に記載の集積回路。
- 前記処理回路は、さらに、前記エラー信号の振幅から前記閾値振幅を決定し、該閾値振幅は、該エラー信号の振幅に従って動的に調節される、請求項18に記載の集積回路。
- 前記閾値振幅は、前記エラー信号の振幅より20dB低いレベルである、請求項21に記載の集積回路。
- 前記処理回路は、前記ソースオーディオの振幅が、閾値振幅より低いことを検出し、該処理回路は、該ソースオーディオの振幅が、該閾値振幅より低い場合、前記制御可能なノイズソースを変更することのみを行う、請求項17に記載の集積回路。
