Claims (15)
- 少なくとも一つの以下の特性:
(a)ポリマー中の総スチレン含有量に基づいて、約15〜約35重量%の6より多い連続的スチレン単位を含むブロックスチレン含有量
(b)重合化された1,3−ジエンの総量に基づいて、約25〜約80重量%のビニル含有量
(c)ポリマーの総重量に基づいて、約35〜約75重量%のスチレン含有量
(d)1.5以下の分子量分布(Mw/Mn)
を有する、ポリマー。 - 少なくとも一つの以下の追加的特性:
(e)前記ポリマー中の総スチレン含有量に基づいて、約60〜約80重量%の4より多い連続的スチレンユニットを含む、ブロックスチレン含有量、好ましくは、前記ポリマー中の総スチレン含有量に基づいて、約15〜約30重量%の6より多い連続的スチレン単位を含むブロックスチレン含有量、最も好ましくは、前記ポリマーの総スチレン含有量に基づいて、約20〜約30重量%の6より多い連続的スチレン単位を含むブロックスチレン含有量、を有する請求項1に記載のポリマー。 - 総スチレン含有量に基づいて、約35〜約65重量%の、好ましくは、約50〜約60重量%のスチレン含有量を有する、請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載のポリマー。
- 約1.05〜約1.5、好ましくは約1.1〜約1.45、より好ましくは約1.2〜約1.4の分子量分布(Mw/Mn)を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のポリマー。
- 前記1,3−ジエンが1,3−ブタジエンを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のポリマー。
- 約200,000g/mol以上、好ましくは約300,000g/mol以上、又は、約500,000g/mol以上の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のポリマー。
- 約300,000g/mol以上、好ましくは約400,000g/mol以上、又は、約600,000g/mol以上の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のポリマー。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のポリマー及び、任意に少なくとも一つの添加剤を含む、組成物。
- 請求項8に記載の組成物から形成された少なくとも一つの構成要素を含む物品。
- スチレンモノマー及び、1,3−ブタジエンモノマー由来のモノマー単位を含むポリマーの重合方法であって、
n−ブチルリチウム、カリウムアルコラート及び有機エーテル化合物を含み得る開始剤の存在下で、前記モノマー単位を重合することを含み;
前記有機エーテル化合物は、式R1−O−CH2−CH(R3)−O−R2のジアルキルエーテルの中から選択され、式中R1及びR2は独立して炭素数1〜10のアルキル基を表し、R3は水素、メチル又は2−(2−エトキシエトキシ)−2−メチルプロパンなどのエチルを表し、前記カリウムアルコラートの活性開始剤に対するモル比は、0.4mol/mol以下、好ましくは約0.01〜約0.4、より好ましくは、約0.05〜約0.3であることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記R1がメチル又はエチルであり、且つ、R2が分岐状アルキル基、好ましくは、t−ブチルであり、且つ、R3が水素を表し得ることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記カリウムアルコラートが、カリウム−3,7−ジメチル−3−オクチレートを含むことを特徴とする、請求項10又は11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記重合反応が、約90℃以下、好ましくは約10℃〜約85℃、より好ましくは20℃〜80℃の温度で実行されることを特徴とする、請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記カリウムアルコラートに対する前記ジアルキルエーテルのモル比が、約55:1〜約5:1、好ましくは約45:1〜約10:1、及び/又は、活性開始剤に対する前記ジアルキルエーテルのモル比が、約0.5〜約10、より好ましくは約1〜約5であることを特徴とする、請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 総モノマー変換率が、供給されたモノマーの総量に基づいて約96重量%以上、好ましくは約98重量%以上、より好ましくは約99重量%以上であることを特徴とする、請求項10〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
