Abstract
Description
本発明は一般的に農業用途における使用のためのドリフト減少剤に関するが、標的−外付着(off−target deposition)を減少させることが有益である他の用途においても適用され得る。
噴霧ドリフトは、適用時又はそのすぐ後における空気輸送(airborne)噴霧粒子の空気を介する標的−外部位への物理的な動きとしてを定義され得る。農業の状況において、より大きい噴霧ドリフト特性を有する調剤は、標的部位と相互作用する調剤がより少量であるので、典型的に好ましくない。噴霧ドリフトに対抗するために、典型的にドリフト減少剤を噴霧混合物に加えて、起こる噴霧ドリフトの量を減少させる。
驚くべきことに、比較的低い親水−親油バランス(HLB)の界面活性剤を噴霧ドリフト減少剤として使用できることが見出された。そのような界面活性剤は一般に、噴霧の間に生成する微粒子の量を減少させる。確かに、他の界面活性剤は通常、噴霧タンクに加えられると、低下した張力が噴霧滴の破壊をより容易にするので、微粒子の量を増加させる。
は、Griffin(W.C.Griffin,J.Cosmet.Chem.,1,311,1949)により開発された実験的スケール基づいて測定される。このスケールは0から20の範囲であり、0は完全に親油性の分子の場合であり、20は完全に親水性の分子の場合である。界面活性剤の機能を一般にそれらのHLB数により記述することができる。脱泡性界面活性剤は1〜3のHLB範囲を有する。油中水型乳化剤は3〜6のHLB範囲を有する。湿潤剤は7〜9のHLB範囲を有する。水中油型乳化剤は8〜18のHLB範囲を有する。洗剤は13〜15のHLB範囲を有する。可溶化剤は15〜18のHLB範囲を有する。

Claims (9)
- 低親水−親油バランス界面活性剤を含んでなる噴霧ドリフト減少剤。
- 1種もしくはそれより多い活性成分及び1種もしくはそれより多い低親水−親油バランス界面活性剤を含む噴霧ドリフトを減少させるための有害生物防除性組成物。
- 1種もしくはそれより多い活性成分が除草剤を含む請求項2の組成物。
- 1種もしくはそれより多い活性成分が殺虫剤を含む請求項2の組成物。
- 1種もしくはそれより多い活性成分が殺菌・殺カビ剤を含む請求項2の組成物。
- 有害生物防除剤及び低親水−親油バランス界面活性剤を含む噴霧のための組成物を準備し、組成物を噴霧することを含んでなる噴霧ドリフトを減少させる方法。
- 噴霧混合物に界面活性剤を加え;そして
噴霧混合物において測定される界面活性剤の曇り点より高い温度で噴霧混合物を噴霧することを含んでなる噴霧ドリフトを減少させる方法。 - 二種もしくはそれより多い界面活性剤のブレンドを含んでなり、ここでブレンドは低い親水−親油バランスを有する噴霧組成物。
- 低親水−親油バランス界面活性剤を第2の界面活性剤と配合して低親水−親油バランスを有するブレンドを与えることを含んでなる噴霧ドリフト減少組成物を調製する方法。
