【解決手段】グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体を含有してなり、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体におけるオレフィンの質量割合(X)が65〜95質量%であり、Xと、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のグリシジル基数(Y)と、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のヒドロキシル基数(Z)とが、4≦(100−X)Y/(Y+Z)≦30の関係を満たすことを特徴とするガラス繊維用集束剤。

グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体を含有してなり、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体におけるオレフィンの質量割合(X)が65〜95質量%であり、
Xと、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のグリシジル基数(Y)と、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のヒドロキシル基数(Z)とが、
4≦(100−X)Y/(Y+Z)≦30
の関係を満たすことを特徴とする。
本発明のガラス繊維用集束剤は、
グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体を含有してなり、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体におけるオレフィンの質量割合(X)が65〜95質量%であり、
Xと、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のグリシジル基数(Y)と、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のヒドロキシル基数(Z)とが、
4≦(100−X)Y/(Y+Z)≦30
の関係を満たす。以下、その詳細について説明する。
Xと、グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のグリシジル基数(Y)と、グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のヒドロキシル基数(Z)とが、
4≦(100−X)Y/(Y+Z)≦30
の関係を満たすように調整すればよい。上記要件を満たすことにより、繊維強化樹脂成型体の機械的強度を高めるとともに、繊維強化樹脂成型体の着色を抑制することができる。
本発明のガラス繊維は、表面に上記に記載のガラス繊維集束剤が塗布されてなり、ガラス繊維とガラス繊維集束剤の固形物の合量に対するガラス繊維集束剤の固形物の質量割合が、0.2〜2.0質量%である。
本発明の繊維強化樹脂成型体は、上記に記載のガラス繊維と、熱可塑性樹脂とを複合化させてなることを特徴とする。
各種添加成分、例えば酸化防止剤、核剤、可塑剤、離型剤、難燃剤、顔料、カーボンブラ
ック及び帯電防止剤などの添加剤や、炭素繊維、無機フィラー、合成繊維などの、ガラス
繊維以外の補強材を適量含有してよい。
Claims (5)
- グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体を含有してなり、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体におけるオレフィンの質量割合(X)が65〜95質量%であり、
Xと、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のグリシジル基数(Y)と、前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体中のヒドロキシル基数(Z)とが、
4≦(100−X)Y/(Y+Z)≦30
の関係を満たすことを特徴とするガラス繊維用集束剤。 - 前記グリシジルメタクリレート−オレフィン共重合体は、グリシジルメタクリレート−エチレン共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のガラス繊維用集束剤。
- 表面に請求項1または2に記載のガラス繊維集束剤が塗布されてなるガラス繊維であって、
前記ガラス繊維と前記ガラス繊維集束剤の固形物の合量に対する前記ガラス繊維集束剤の固形物の質量割合が、0.2〜2.0質量%であることを特徴とするガラス繊維。 - 請求項3に記載のガラス繊維と、熱可塑性樹脂とを複合化させてなることを特徴とする繊維強化樹脂成型体。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂は、ポリエステルまたはポリカーボネートであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の繊維強化樹脂成型体。
