Claims (20)
- 第1電極アセンブリの表面を含む電極アセンブリと、
前記電極アセンブリおよび電解液を収容するケースと、
前記ケースの開口部を密閉し、前記電極アセンブリと第1方向に分離され、前記第1電極アセンブリの表面と向き合う第1キャッププレートの表面を含むキャッププレートと、
前記ケースの内部に設けられ、前記第1電極アセンブリの表面と前記第1キャッププレートの表面との間に位置し、前記電解液の一部を吸収する電解液吸収部材とを含むことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記電解液吸収部材は、絶縁物質で作られたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、電解液吸収物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、接着部材で前記キャッププレートに結合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、薄い板またはシートを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、多孔性フィルムまたは織物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、複数のナノサイズの孔を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、ポリオレフィンまたはポリビニリデンフルオライドのうちの少なくとも1つからなる多孔性フィルムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極アセンブリに電気的に結合され、前記キャッププレートを貫通して突出する端子をさらに含み、
前記電解液吸収部材は、前記端子が通過する第1溝を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記キャッププレートは、電解液注入口を含み、前記電解液吸収部材は、前記電解液注入口と向き合うように設けられる第3溝を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレートは、ベントホールを含み、前記電解液吸収部材は、前記キャッププレートのベントホールと向き合うように設けられる第4溝を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、前記第1キャッププレートの表面に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースの内部に設けられ、前記ケースの内壁に結合される補助電解液吸収部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の二次電池。
- 前記補助電解液吸収部材は、前記第1方向において前記第1電極アセンブリの表面と前記第1キャッププレートの表面との間に位置し、前記ケースの前記内壁の一部に結合されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の二次電池。
- 前記補助電解液吸収部材は、前記ケースの内壁の形状に相応する形状を有することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液吸収部材は、扁平部と、前記扁平部の周りを囲む突出部とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記扁平部は、前記第1キャッププレートの表面に結合され、
前記突出部は、前記第1電極アセンブリの表面に向かって突出することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の二次電池。 - 前記突出部は、前記扁平部の周縁から突出することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の二次電池。
- 前記突出部は、前記ケースの内壁に接触することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極アセンブリの表面と向き合う前記突出部の表面は、前記扁平部と角をなすことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の二次電池。
