Abstract
【解決手段】フレキシブルディスプレイ装置は、柔軟性のあるディスプレイ本体と、ディスプレイ本体を変形駆動させるアクチュエータと、ディスプレイ本体が変形駆動される前の初期形状を維持する初期形状設定基板と、を備える。例えば、前記アクチュエータは、互いに対向する第1電極及び第2電極と、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に介在する電気活性高分子層と、を備えるものとすることができる。

Claims (11)
- 柔軟性のあるディスプレイ本体と、
前記ディスプレイ本体を変形駆動させるアクチュエータと、
前記ディスプレイ本体が変形する前の初期形状を維持する初期形状設定基板と、
を備えるフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。 - 前記アクチュエータは、互いに対向する第1電極及び第2電極と、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に介在する電気活性高分子層と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1電極と第2電極との間に電圧が印加されたときに、前記電気活性高分子層が伸張しながら変形が起きることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記電気活性高分子層は、PVDF(Polyvinylidene Fluoride)、PDMS(Polydimethyl Siloxan)、PVFT(Polyvinylidene Fluoride−co−Trifluoroethylene)のうちのいずれか一つの材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1電極及び前記第2電極は、ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)を含むことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に前記電気活性高分子層が介在した一つの基本ユニットからなることを特徴とする請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、前記第1電極と前記第2電極との電極の間に前記電気活性高分子層が介在した基本ユニットが多段に積層された複層形態を成すことを特徴とする請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記初期形状設定基板は、前記ディスプレイ本体の初期形状を折り畳み状態に維持させ、前記アクチュエータの駆動によって、前記ディスプレイ本体がフラット状態に広げられることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記初期形状設定基板は、マグネシウム、アルミニウム、鉛のうちいずれか一つを含む合金材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置
- 前記ディスプレイ本体に、前記初期形状設定基板の一面が付着され、当該初期形状設定基板の他面に、前記アクチュエータが付着されることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ本体に、前記アクチュエータの一面が付着され、当該アクチュエータの他面に、前記初期形状設定基板が付着されることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブルディスプレイ装置。
