Abstract
【解決手段】 円板状の台金10aと、台金10aの外周部に形成された複数の刃先形成部13と、複数の刃先形成部13に接合された超硬質チップ14とで、刃先近傍部12の厚みが刃先15の厚みよりも薄くなった回転鋸10を構成した。この回転鋸10の刃先15は、台金基部11と刃先近傍部12とを形成するための厚めの台金部材18における刃先形成部13を構成する部分13aに刃先15よりも厚めの超硬質チップ14aを接合したのちに、超硬質チップ14aを台金部材18における刃先近傍部12を形成する部分とともに研削加工して形成した。研削加工された台金部材18aの余分な部分を、さらに加工除去して刃先近傍部12と台金基部11とを形成した。

Claims (5)
- 円板状の台金と、前記台金の外周部に形成された複数の刃先形成部と、前記複数の刃先形成部に接合された超硬質チップとを有する回転鋸であって、
前記台金を形成するための台金部材における前記刃先形成部を構成する部分に所定の厚さの超硬質チップを接合したのちに、前記所定の厚さの超硬質チップを前記台金部材における刃先近傍部を形成する部分とともに研削加工して刃先を形成し、
前記研削加工された少なくとも刃先近傍部の前記刃先よりも厚い部分を、さらに加工除去して前記刃先の厚みよりも薄くあさりを形成することにより構成されたことを特徴とする回転鋸。 - 前記刃先の厚みを0.5mm以下にした請求項1に記載の回転鋸。
- 前記刃先を形成する研削加工が機械研削である請求項1または2に記載の回転鋸。
- 前記研削加工された少なくとも刃先近傍部の前記刃先よりも厚い部分を加工除去して前記あさりを形成する除去加工を、前記台金部材に対して加工による作用力を直接加えない電気的または化学的な加工方法で行い、この除去加工によって、前記刃先近傍部と前記台金の中央部分を構成する台金基部との形成も行う請求項1ないし3のうちのいずれか一つに記載の回転鋸。
- 前記除去加工を、エッチング加工で行う請求項4に記載の回転鋸。
