Claims (17)

  1. 動静脈(AV)フィステルを作るためのデバイスであって、前記デバイスは、
    遠位テーパ面を含む細長部材
    前記細長部材に接続され、かつ前記細長部材に対して移動可能である遠位部材であって、該遠位部材は、細長部材の遠位テーパ面にほぼ整列している近位テーパ面を含む、遠位部材;
    前記遠位部材と前記細長部材とを接続するためのシャフトであって、該シャフトは、前記細長部材に対して前記遠位部材を伸長し、かつ後退させるために、伸長可能であり、かつ後退可能であり、ここで、遠位部材が後退すると、細長部材に対して、遠位テーパ面と近位テーパ面は、その間に組織を固定するようにほぼ係合する、シャフト;及び
    遠位部材の前記近位テーパ面及び細長部材の前記遠位テーパ面の少なくとも1つに配置された発熱部材
    を備え、
    前記発熱部材が前記フィステルを作るため固定した組織を切り開くのに適している
    ことを特徴とするデバイス。
  2. 前記細長部材が、細長いアウターチューブを備えてなる請求項1に記載のデバイス。
  3. 前記発熱部材が前記近位テーパ面に配置されている請求項1に記載のデバイス。
  4. 前記遠位テーパ面に配置された第2の発熱部材をさらに備えてなる請求項3に記載のデバイス。
  5. 前記発熱部材と前記第2の発熱部材の少なくとも1つが、起動されたヒーターと、前記ヒーターから熱を遠ざけ、拡散し、温度勾配を作るために、前記起動されたヒーターの下に配されたヒートスプレッダーとを備えてなる請求項4に記載のデバイス。
  6. 前記ヒートスプレッダーが熱伝導性材料を含み、前記発熱部材の下の前記テーパ面に配されてなる請求項5に記載のデバイス。
  7. 前記遠位部材がテーパ状であり、柔軟性を有してなる請求項1に記載のデバイス。
  8. 動静脈(AV)フィステルを作るためのデバイスであって、前記デバイスは、
    細長部材;
    前記細長部材に接続され、かつ前記細長部材に対して移動可能である遠位部材であって、該遠位部材は、細長部材に対して軸となるトグル部材を含む、遠位部材;及び
    前記移動可能な遠位部材及び前記細長部材の少なくとも1つに配置された発熱部材
    を備え、
    前記遠位部材が、前記フィステルを作るために切断される組織を捕捉するための構造体を備え、前記発熱部材が前記フィステルを作るために前記組織を切り開くのに適している
    ことを特徴とするデバイス。
  9. 前記トグル部材と前記細長部材とを接続するためのシャフトをさらに備え、前記シャフトが、前記トグル部材を前記細長部材に対して伸長し、かつ後退するために、伸長可能であり、かつ後退可能であり、前記トグル部材が前記シャフトに旋回可能に接続されてなる請求項8に記載のデバイス。
  10. 前記発熱部材が前記細長部材の前記遠位テーパ面上に配されてなる請求項1に記載のデバイス。
  11. 前記発熱部材に関連付けられた組織受取キャビティをさらに含む請求項1に記載のデバイス。
  12. 前記発熱部材が、起動されたヒーター、前記ヒーターから熱を遠ざけ、拡散し、温度勾配を作るために前記起動されたヒーターの下に配されたヒートスプレッダーを備えてなる請求項10に記載のデバイス。
  13. 前記ヒートスプレッダーが熱伝導性材料を含む請求項12に記載のデバイス。
  14. 隣接した第1の血管と第2の血管の間にAVフィステルを作るための方法であって、前記方法は、
    前記第1の血管から、前記第2の血管にガイドワイヤを挿入する工程、
    前記遠位部材のテーパ状の遠位先端が選択された吻合位置と接触するように、近位細長部材と遠位部材を含むカテーテルを前記ガイドワイヤ上に挿入する工程、
    前記細長部材が前記第1の血管内に留まっている間に、前記遠位部材を前記第2の血管内に前進させ、それによって前記2つの血管の間の隙間を拡大する工程、
    前記遠位部材と前記細長部材の各々の上の対向する面の間の隙間を囲む組織を固定するために、前記遠位部材を前記細長部材に向かって後退させる工程、及び
    切断して隙間を形成するために、かつ前記2つの血管の間に所望のフィステルを作るためにそれらの縁を溶着するために、前記遠位部材と前記細長部材の1つの上の発熱部材にエネルギーを加える工程を含んでなる
    ことを特徴とする方法。
  15. 前記遠位部材と前記細長部材の各々の上の前記対向する面が整列した面を備え、整列した面の間に組織が固定され、発熱部材が前記2つの整列したテーパ面の少なくとも1つの上に配されてなる請求項14に記載の方法。
  16. 前記発熱部材に隣接して配されたキャビティ内で切断された組織を捕捉する工程をさらに含んでなる請求項15に記載の方法。
  17. 前記発熱部材の下の前記テーパ面上に配された伝導性材料を含むヒートスプレッダーを用いて、前記発熱部材から熱を拡散する工程をさらに含む請求項15に記載の方法。
