前記エンボス加工ロール(10)は、このエンボス加工ロール(10)の前記作用表面(12)の少なくとも一部を形成する少なくとも二つのセグメント(14;14a〜14h)を備え、
各セグメント(14;14a〜14h)は少なくとも一つの隆起したエンボス加工突起(18;18a,18b)を備えており、
少なくとも一つのセグメント(14;14a〜14h)の半径方向ポジションおよび角方位は、少なくとも二つの離間した、別個に設けられた調整デバイス(26)によって調整可能であることを特徴とするエンボス加工ツール。 - 少なくとも二つのセグメント(14a,14b,14c)は、エンボス加工ロール(10)の長手方向に互いに隣接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- 少なくとも二つのセグメント(14b,14e,14f)は、エンボス加工ロール(10)の周方向に互いに隣接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- 前記エンボス加工ロール(10)のコア要素(20)に対して前記セグメント(14;14a〜14h)を固定するための固定手段(24)を、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- 前記調整デバイスは、スクリュー(26)、好ましくはセルフロッキングスクリューであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- 前記調整デバイス(26)は、0.8mmの、好ましくは0.5mmの半径方向延伸範囲における最大変化量を提供することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- 前記長手方向および/または周方向に対するセグメントの角傾斜は最大値で45度であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- セグメント(14;14a〜14h)の前記エンボス加工突起(18)の少なくとも一つは、徐々にあるいは階段状に変化する太さおよび/または高さを有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- 前記エンボス加工ロール(10)と協働するアンビルロールをさらに備え、前記アンビルロールの前記作用表面は可縮素材で覆われていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載のエンボス加工ツール。
- エンボス製品、特に、製品にエンボス加工された凹部を備えるティッシュ製品あるいは毛羽製品であって、少なくとも一つの長手方向凹部に沿って前記凹部を取り囲む素材の面重量は連続的にかつ/または階段状に増加あるいは減少し、少なくとも、一つの凹部に沿って、前記凹部の密度は実質的に一定であることを特徴とするエンボス製品。
