Claims (14)
- 燃料タンク(14)用のバルブアセンブリ(11,111,211)の製造方法(300)であって、
部品(22,122,222)が凹部内に挿入され、かつ、ハウジングによって前記凹部内に保持されることを可能にする大きさの前記凹部(16,116,216)を有する前記バルブハウジング(10,110,210)を形成し、
前記バルブアセンブリが前記燃料タンクに取付けられるとき、前記部品は、前記燃料タンクの外側に配置される検出部(42)によって検出できることを特徴とする方法。 - 更に、前記バルブハウジングの形成後、前記部品を凹部内に挿入する(304)ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記部品は、略平坦であり、側面(23,233)を有し、前記凹部は、前記部品の前記側面を受入れるために十分な深さの入口部(18,218)を有するスロットであり、前記部品の前記凹部内への挿入は、前記部品の前記側面を最初に前記入口部に挿入することによって達成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記バルブハウジングの形成は、前記入口部に略直角であり、前記バルブハウジングの外面から前記凹部に延びる開口部(34,234)を形成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記バルブハウジングの形成は、前記部品の挿入後、前記凹部内に保持するために、前記凹部内に十分に延びる縁(30,230)を形成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記バルブハウジングの形成は、射出成形であり、適切な位置で金型内にインサート(17,19)を保持して、前記インサートの周辺を射出成形することを含み、これにより、前記インサートの位置で、前記凹部に略直角に前記凹部及び前記開口部を形成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記部品の挿入は、前記部品を前記凹部内に押圧することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記部品は、前記凹部内に押圧するとき、前記ハウジングに干渉するエッジ(134)を有し、これにより、前記部品が前記凹部内に保持されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 形成方法は、射出成形であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 凹部(16,116,216)を有するバルブアセンブリ(10,110,210)と、
前記バルブハウジングによって前記凹部内に保持される部品(22,122,222)と、を備える前記バルブアセンブリであって、
前記部品は、検出部(42)によって検出することができる材料であることを特徴とするバルブアセンブリ。 - 前記部品は、略平坦であり、側面(23,223)を有し、前記凹部は、前記部品の前記側面を受入れるために十分な深さの入口部(18,218)を有するスロットであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 前記バルブハウジングンは、前記入口部に略直角である開口部(34,234)を含み、前記入口部は、前記バブルハウジングの外面(24,224)から前記凹部に延びていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 前記バルブハウジングは、前記凹部の中に延び、かつ、前記部品を前記凹部に保持する縁(30,230)を形成することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 入口部(18,218)を形成する凹部(16,216)を有する一体射出成形のバルブハウジング(10,210)を備えたバルブアセンブリ(11,211)であって、
前記バルブハウジングは、前記入口部に対して直角である開口部(32,234)を有し、
更に、前記入口部を通って前記凹部内に嵌り、かつ、前記開口部で前記バルブハウジングによって前記凹部内に保持される大きさで、前記開口部で露出されている金属ディスク(22,222)を含むことを特徴とするバルブアセンブリ。
