Abstract
Description

Claims (20)
- 電気的な及び流体の接続、並びにアラインメント・ピンを有する接続端キャップと、
クロスオーバー端キャップと、
接続端キャップ及びクロスオーバー端キャップの間に配置され、UV放射を発する第1の複数のLED、この第1の複数のLEDからの放射を反射し基板に焦点を合わせるように位置決めされた第1反射器、並びに、上記LEDによって発生した熱を吸収するヒートシンクを有するランプボディと、
を備えたUV LEDランプ。 - 第2の複数のLEDと、この第2の複数のLEDからの放射を反射し基板に焦点を合わせるように位置決めされた第2反射器と、をさらに備えた、請求項1に記載のUV LEDランプ。
- 一対の端キャップと、
端キャップ間に取り付けられたヒートシンクと、
上記ヒートシンクの第1表面に取り付けられた第1の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントと、
LEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントの放射を反射し基板に焦点を合わせるように位置決めされた反射器と、を備え、
上記第1の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントは、上記基板の可変な幅あるいは長さに適応するように数を変更可能である、
UV LEDランプ。 - 上記ヒートシンクの第2の表面に取り付けられる、第2の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントをさらに備え、この第2の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントは、上記基板の可変な幅あるいは長さに適応するように数を変更可能である、
請求項3に記載のUV LEDランプ。 - 上記第2の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントは、上記第1の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントの放射波長とは異なる放射波長を放射する、請求項4に記載のUV LEDランプ。
- 上記端キャップの一つから延在する複数のアラインメント・ピンをさらに備える、請求項3に記載のUV LEDランプ。
- 上記ヒートシンクへの冷却剤の進入及び退出を許可する一対の流体バルブをさらに備える、請求項3に記載のUV LEDランプ。
- 上記ヒートシンクは一対の冷却液通路を形成し、この冷却液通路の一方は、冷却剤が上記ヒートシンクに進入するのを許容し、冷却液通路の他方は、冷却剤が上記ヒートシンクから出るのを許容する、請求項7に記載のUV LED。
- それぞれの上記冷却液通路は、上記液体冷却剤内へ突出するフィン機構によって囲まれる、請求項7に記載のUV LED。
- 基板表面のUV硬化用のUV LEDランプを形成する方法であって、該方法は、
上記基板表面の長さあるいは幅に適応するように第1の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントを選択し、
上記UV LEDランプ内に、選択された複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントを設置する、
ことを備えた方法。 - 上記基板表面の長さあるいは幅に適応するように第2の複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントを選択し、
上記UV LEDランプ内に、選択された複数のLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントを設置する、
ことをさらに備えた、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 上記LEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントから上記基板表面へ放射されたUV放射を反射する反射器を位置決めすることをさらに備えた、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 上記LEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントは、一対の冷却液通路を有するヒートシンクに取り付けられている、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 上記反射器及びLEDサブアセンブリー・セグメントを一対の端キャップ間に配置することをさらに備えた、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 基板に設置された材料を硬化する方法であって、上記材料はUV光開始剤を有し、上記方法は、UV放射を上記基板に向けることを備え、上記UV放射は、請求項1のUV LEDランプから発生する、方法。
- 基板に設置された材料を硬化する方法であって、上記材料はUV光開始剤を有し、上記方法は、UV放射を上記基板に向けることを備え、上記UV放射は、請求項3のUV LEDランプから発生する、方法。
- 基板に設置された材料を硬化する方法であって、上記材料はUV光開始剤を有し、上記方法は、UV放射を上記基板に向けることを備え、上記UV放射は、請求項4のUV LEDランプから発生する、方法。
- それぞれのサブアセンブリーによって異なった材料が硬化され、そのようなサブアセンブリーは、UV放射の異なった波長を発する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 上記UVサブアセンブリー・セグメントを冷却することをさらに備える、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 上記UVサブアセンブリー・セグメントは、上記シートシンクに位置する一対の冷却液通路を通り冷却液を循環させることにより冷却される、請求項19に記載の方法。
