Abstract
【解決手段】本発明における燃焼機関のための点火プラグは、中心電極(11)と、中心電極(11)の径方向に且つ中心電極(11)の周囲に配置されている接地電極(12)とを備えており、環状の点火ギャップ(13)が、中心電極(11)と接地電極(12)との間に発生させた電気点火火花によって燃料混合気を点火するために、中心電極(11)と接地電極(12)との間に形成されており、接地電極(12)が、重力の作用によって、接地電極(12)の領域内に到達する粒子を点火ギャップ(13)から離隔させるように輪郭づけられている。

Claims (7)
- 中心電極(11)と、前記中心電極(11)の径方向に且つ前記中心電極(11)の周囲に配置されている接地電極(12)とを備えている、燃焼機関のための点火プラグであって、
環状の点火ギャップ(13)が、前記中心電極(11)と前記接地電極(12)との間に発生させた電気点火火花によって燃料混合気を点火するために、前記中心電極(11)と前記接地電極(12)との間に形成されている、前記点火プラグにおいて、
前記接地電極(12)が、重力の作用によって、前記接地電極(12)の領域内に到達する粒子を前記点火ギャップ(13)から離隔させるように輪郭づけられていることを特徴とする点火プラグ。 - 前記接地電極(12)が、前記中心電極の軸線方向に延在している第1の区間(14)と、前記中心電極の径方向に延在している第2の区間(15)とを有しており、前記点火ギャップ(13)が、前記中心電極(11)と、径方向に延在している前記接地電極(12)の前記第2の区間(15)との間に形成されており、
前記接地電極(12)において、前記中心電極(12)の径方向に延在している前記第2の区間(15)の上面(17)は、前記上面(17)が前記点火ギャップ(13)から離隔するに従って上から下に向かって斜めに延在するように輪郭づけられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火プラグ。 - 前記接地電極(12)が、前記中心電極の軸線方向に延在している第1の区間(14)と、前記中心電極(11)の径方向に延在している第2の区間(15)とを有しており、
前記点火ギャップ(13)が、前記中心電極(11)と、径方向に延在している前記接地電極の前記第2の区間(15)との間に形成されており、
陥凹部(18)が、前記中心電極(11)の径方向に延在している前記第2の区間(15)の上面(17)に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の点火プラグ。 - 前記陥凹部(18)が、前記点火ギャップ(13)から径方向において離隔した状態で、前記点火ギャップ(13)の周囲において環状に延在していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記陥凹部(18)が、前記中心電極(11)の軸線方向に延在している前記接地電極(12)の前記第1の区間(14)と、前記中心電極(11)の径方向に延在している前記接地電極(12)の前記第2の区間(15)との間における移行領域内に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記陥凹部(18)が、前記接地電極(12)を貫通している燃料混合気のための通抜孔(16)に隣接して形成されており、すなわち、前記中心電極(11)の径方向から見た場合に、前記通抜孔(16)と前記点火ギャップ(13)との間において、前記点火ギャップ(13)から径方向に比較的大きな距離で離隔した状態で、且つ、前記通抜孔(16)から径方向に比較的小さな距離で離隔した状態で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載の点火プラグ。
- ガス状の燃料と空気とから成る燃料混合気を燃焼させるための燃焼機関、より詳しくは火花点火式ガス機関において、少なくとも1つの請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の点火プラグを備えていることを特徴とする燃焼機関。
