Abstract
【解決手段】互いに連結可能な連結部を備える2つの基板の間に介在して当該2つの基板を間接的に連結する中継コネクタであって、一方の基板の連結部に機構的に連結可能な第1の連結部と、他方の基板の連結部に機構的に連結可能な第2の連結部と、を備えることを特徴とする中継コネクタ。

Description
以下に本発明の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。図1は本実施形態の中継コネクタを備える光源モジュールの上面模式図である。図2は本実施形態の中継コネクタを備える光源モジュールの正面模式図である。図1及び図2に示すように光源モジュール1は、4つのLED基板(光源基板)2(21〜24)と、中継コネクタ6を備える。各LED基板2には1以上(図1及び図2においては4つ)のLED3が実装される。また、各LED基板2は一端にプラグ4が設けられ、他端にレセプタクル5が設けられる。
図5は本実施形態の中継コネクタを備える光源モジュールの側面模式図である。また、図6は本実施形態の中継コネクタを備える光源モジュールが備えるLED基板の上面模式図である。図7は本実施形態の中継コネクタを備える光源モジュールが備えるLED基板の正面模式図である。本実施形態では、第1実施形態に示す4つのLED基板2が、COB方式(LEDがLED基板に直接ボンディング実装される方式)によってLEDが実装されるLED基板である場合について詳説する。なお、光源モジュールの回路構成は第1実施形態(図3及び図4)と同様であるため説明を省略する。
図12は本実施形態の中継コネクタの上面図である。なお、本実施形態は上記第2実施形態中継コネクタの変形例である。図12に示すように本実施形態の中継コネクタ200は背面の一部を切り欠いて形成される係合部204を備える。一方、図示しない液晶表示装置の筐体には、係合部204に係合する係合部が設けられる。
図13は本実施形態の中継コネクタの上面図である。また、図14は本実施形態の中継コネクタの正面図である。また、図15は本実施形態の中継コネクタの左側面図である。また、図16は本実施形態の中継コネクタの右側面図である。なお、本実施形態は上記第2実施形態の別の変形例である。
上記各実施形態は任意に組み合わせることが可能である。例えば、中継コネクタ200は、位置決め用の係合部204及び他の部材との間で間隙を形成する突起部205を共に備えることとしてもよい。また、上記第3実施形態の中継コネクタ200及び第4実施形態の中継コネクタ200を第2実施形態の中継コネクタ200の変形例として説明しているが、当然ながら各変形例を第1実施形態の中継コネクタ6に適用することとしてもよい。

Claims (9)
- 互いに連結可能な連結部を備える2つの基板の間に介在して当該2つの基板を間接的に連結する中継コネクタであって、一方の基板の連結部に機構的に連結可能な第1の連結部と、他方の基板の連結部に機構的に連結可能な第2の連結部と、を備えることを特徴とする中継コネクタ。
- 電気信号を外部から入力し、及び/又は電気信号を外部へ出力する電気信号伝達手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中継コネクタ。
- 前記2つの基板が間接的且つ機構的に連結されている場合において、当該2つの基板は電気的に非連結であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の中継コネクタ。
- 位置決め用係合部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の中継コネクタ。
- 他の部材との間で間隙を形成するための突起部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の中継コネクタ。
- 前記突起部は、前記2つの基板の連結方向に平行に、互いに離間して形成される第1の突起部と第2の突起部とからなることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の中継コネクタ。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の中継コネクタと、
発光素子が実装され、該中継コネクタによって間接的に連結される2つの基板と、
を備えることを特徴とする光源モジュール。 - 前記中継コネクタによって間接的に連結される2つの基板は、COB方式によって発光素子が実装される光源基板であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記光源基板は、両基板の連結方向に平行に、前記発光素子を介して互いに離間して形成される第1の突起部と第2の突起部と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の光源モジュール。
