Claims (16)

  1. ポリリン酸塩と金属種との結合物を含み、該結合物が、基材中に分散されており、前記金属種が、銀種又は金種である、細菌を含めた微生物の感染の処置または予防のための材料。
  2. 前記基材が、フォーム、繊維、又はフィルムの形態である、請求項1に記載の材料。
  3. 前記金属種が、金属イオン、金属粒子、又は金属ナノ粒子からなる群から選択される、請求項1または2に記載の材料。
  4. 前記金属種が金属酸化物である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
  5. 前記銀種が、硝酸銀、過塩素酸銀、酢酸銀、テトラフルオロホウ酸銀、銀トリフラート、フッ化銀、塩化銀、酸化銀、及び水酸化銀からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の材料。
  6. 前記酸化銀が、酸化銀(I)、酸化銀(I、III)、酸化銀(II、III)、及び酸化銀(III)からなる群から選択される、請求項5に記載の材料。
  7. 前記金種が、硝酸金、過塩素酸金、酢酸金、テトラフルオロホウ酸金、金トリフラート、フッ化金、塩化金、酸化金、及び水酸化金からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の材料。
  8. 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の材料を含む、細菌を含めた微生物の感染の処置または予防のための組成物。
  9. 請求項8に記載の組成物であって、前記ポリリン酸塩が、前記金属種と該組成物の残部との間のバリアとして作用する、組成物。
  10. 請求項9に記載の組成物であって、前記金属種が、該組成物の残部とよりも前記ポリリン酸塩との反応性が低い、組成物。
  11. 請求項9または10に記載の組成物であって、前記ポリリン酸塩が、該組成物の残部よりも前記金属種による酸化に対して影響を受けにくい、組成物。
  12. 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の材料を含むデバイス。
  13. 請求項12に記載のデバイスであって、前記ポリリン酸塩が、前記金属種と該デバイスとの間のバリアとして作用する、デバイス。
  14. 請求項12または13に記載のデバイスであって、前記金属種が、該デバイスとよりも前記ポリリン酸塩との反応性が低い、デバイス。
  15. 請求項12から14のいずれか一項に記載のデバイスであって、前記ポリリン酸塩が、該デバイスよりも前記金属種による酸化に対して影響を受けにくい、デバイス。
  16. 請求項8から11のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を含むデバイス。
