Abstract
【解決手段】排気が通る筒状シェル10を貫通して内部に挿入された流路管16,18を有し、流路管16,18の筒状シェル10外部の一端を内燃機関の排気流路に接続する。筒状シェル10の外周に、流路管16,18の他端を挿入可能な貫通孔24,38を形成すると共に、流路管16,18の他端に貫通孔24,38を閉塞可能な蓋部材30,40を溶着する。かつ、蓋部材30,40を筒状シェル10の外周に溶着した。蓋部材30,40に流路管16,18の他端に挿入される凸部32,42を形成した。流路管16,18の他端に蓋部材30,40を溶着してから、貫通孔24,38に流路管16,18を流路管16,18の一端側から挿入して、蓋部材30,40を筒状シェル10の外周に溶着した。

Description
排気が通る筒状シェルを貫通して内部に挿入された流路管を有し、前記流路管の前記筒状シェル外部の一端を内燃機関の排気流路に接続して、通過する前記排気を処理する排気処理装置において、
前記筒状シェルの外周に、前記流路管の他端を挿入可能な貫通孔を形成すると共に、前記流路管の他端に前記貫通孔を閉塞可能な蓋部材を溶着し、かつ、前記蓋部材を前記筒状シェルの外周に溶着したことを特徴とする排気処理装置がそれである。
図1に示すように、1は排気処理装置の例で、排気処理装置1は図示しない排気流路に介装されており、例えば、排気処理装置1は酸化触媒6とディーゼル・パティキュレート・フィルタ(以下、DPFという。)8とを備えた排気浄化装置である。酸化触媒6とDPF8とは筒状シェル10内に収納されており、筒状シェル10はその両端側をエンドプレート12,14により閉塞されている。
蓋部材30,40により流路管16,18の他端側が閉塞されると共に、他方の貫通孔24,38が閉塞され、流路管16,18の他端が筒状シェル10から外部に突き出すことはなく、周囲部品との干渉を招くことがない。また、流路管16,18の他端が筒状シェル10から外部に突き出すことがなく、筒状シェル10から外部に突き出すことによる周囲部品への熱害を抑制できる。更に、蓋部材30,40で、流路管16,18の他端の閉塞と、貫通孔24,38の閉塞とを兼ねているので、部品点数を低減できる。

Claims (4)
- 排気が通る筒状シェルを貫通して内部に挿入された流路管を有し、前記流路管の前記筒状シェル外部の一端を内燃機関の排気流路に接続して、通過する前記排気を処理する排気処理装置において、
前記筒状シェルの外周に、前記流路管の他端を挿入可能な貫通孔を形成すると共に、前記流路管の他端に前記貫通孔を閉塞可能な蓋部材を溶着し、かつ、前記蓋部材を前記筒状シェルの外周に溶着したことを特徴とする排気処理装置。 - 前記蓋部材に前記流路管の他端が挿入される凸部または凹部を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気処理装置。
- 前記流路管の他端に前記蓋部材を溶着してから、前記貫通孔に前記流路管を前記流路管の一端側から挿入して、前記蓋部材を前記筒状シェルの外周に溶着したことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2のいずれかに記載の排気処理装置。
- 前記流路管は前記筒状シェルを斜めに横切って配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載の排気処理装置。
