Abstract
【解決手段】 Cu合金層はBiを5〜30質量%含有し、残部がCu及び不可避不純物からなる銅系摺動材料において、BiはCu合金層中にBi相の粒として分散し、Bi相は粒径が2〜50μmかつ円形度が0.1〜0.7を満たすものが、Cu合金層中の全Bi相のうち質量比で30%以上であることにより、Cu合金層内にBi相の粒が均一に分散した状態となるため、摺動材料の摩耗とともにCu合金層内部のBi相の粒が順次摺動面に露出する一方、溶融したBiの過度な流出が抑制されるため、良好な耐焼付性を有する。

S:Bi相の面積 (単位:μm2)
L:Bi相の周囲長(単位:μm)
(式1)において、円形度の範囲は0を超え、1以下であり、円形度が1に近い程その形状は円に近くなり、円形度が1より小さくなればなるほど複雑な形状となる。例えば、図3に示す複雑な形状をした粒子(a)と、この粒子(a)と等しい面積の粒子(b)の円形度を算出する。ここで、粒子(a)と粒子(b)の面積は同じなので、上式における面積(S)は同じ値である。よって、粒子(a)と粒子(b)の円形度に影響を与えるのは上式の周囲長(L)である。図3より、粒子(a)と粒子(b)の周囲長を比べると、複雑形状の粒子(a)の方が円形状の粒子(b)よりも長いことが分かる。すなわち、上式の円形度において、粒子(a)の方が粒子(b)よりも分母の周囲長(L)が大きい値となるため、粒子(a)の円形度は粒子(b)よりも小さい値となる。これより、複雑な形状になればなるほど周囲長が大きくなるため円形度が小さくなることが分かる。また、粒子(b)(真円)については上式より円形度を求めると値は1となる。よって、円形度が1に近い程形状は円に近くなり、また、円形度が1より小さくなればなるほど複雑な形状を表すこととなる。

また、Bi相の粒の円形度は、得られた組成像を同解析ソフトを用いて解析し、前述した(式1)より算出して求めた。
Claims (6)
- 鋼裏金層とCu合金層とからなる銅系摺動材料であって、前記Cu合金層はBiを5〜30質量%含有し、残部がCu及び不可避不純物からなる銅系摺動材料において、
Biは前記Cu合金層中にBi相の粒として分散し、前記Bi相は粒径が2〜50μmかつ円形度が0.1〜0.7を満たすものが、前記Cu合金層中の全Bi相のうち質量比で30%以上であることを特徴とする銅系摺動材料。 - 前記Bi相は粒径の範囲が2〜30μmかつ円形度が0.1〜0.7を満たすものが、前記Cu合金層中の全Bi相のうち質量比で20%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の銅系摺動材料。
- 前記Cu合金層は、さらにSnを0.5〜15質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の銅系摺動材料。
- 前記Cu合金層は、さらにNi、Fe、Ag、In、Mn、Mgからなる群の中から少なくとも1種以上を総量で0.1〜20質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の銅系摺動材料。
- 前記Cu合金層は、さらにPを0.01〜0.5質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の銅系摺動材料。
- 前記Cu合金層は、さらに平均粒径が0.5〜5μmの無機化合物を0.1〜10質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の銅系摺動材料。
