Claims (17)
- 第1のバッテリセルと、
第1のパネル部、ならびに、前記第1のパネル部の第1および第2の端部にそれぞれ配置される第1および第2のレール部を有する第1の冷却フィンであって、前記第1のバッテリセルが、前記第1のパネル部の第1の側面に隣接して配置され、前記第1および第2のレール部が前記第1のパネル部より大きな厚さを有し、第1の冷却フィンが、前記第1のバッテリセルを冷却するように前記第1のバッテリセルから第1の冷却フィンに熱エネルギーを伝導する、第1の冷却フィンと、
前記第1の冷却フィンの前記第1および第2のレール部をそれぞれ通って延在する第1および第2の導管であって、前記第1の冷却フィンから流体に熱エネルギーを伝導するように、第1および第2の導管を通って流れる前記流体を受け取る、第1および第2の導管と、
を備えることを特徴とするバッテリモジュール。 - 前記第1のパネル部の第2の側面に隣接して配置される第2のバッテリセルをさらに備え、前記第2の側面が、前記第1の側面の反対側であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 第2のパネル部、ならびに、前記第2のパネル部の第1および第2の端部にそれぞれ配置される第3および第4のレール部を有する第2の冷却フィンをさらに備え、第2のバッテリセルが、前記第2のパネル部の第1の側面に隣接して配置され、前記第3および第4のレール部が前記第2のパネル部より大きな厚さを有し、前記第2の冷却フィンが、前記第2のバッテリセルを冷却するように前記第2のバッテリセルから前記第2の冷却フィンに熱エネルギーを伝導することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第1の冷却フィンが、熱伝導性材料から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第1および第2の導管が、熱伝導性材料から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第1のパネル部が、長方形の形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 第1のバッテリセル、第1の冷却フィン、ならびに第1および第2の導管を有するバッテリモジュールであって、前記第1の冷却フィンが、第1のパネル部、ならびに、前記第1のパネル部の第1および第2の端部にそれぞれ配置される第1および第2のレール部を有し、前記第1のバッテリセルが前記第1のパネル部の第1の側面に隣接して配置され、前記第1および第2のレール部が前記第1のパネル部より大きな厚さを有し、前記第1の冷却フィンが、前記第1のバッテリセルを冷却するように前記第1のバッテリセルから前記第1の冷却フィンに熱エネルギーを伝導し、前記第1および第2の導管が、前記第1の冷却フィンの前記第1および第2のレール部をそれぞれ通って延在し、前記第1の冷却フィンから冷媒に熱エネルギーを伝導するように、前記第1および第2の導管を通って流れる前記冷媒を受け取る、バッテリモジュールと、
前記バッテリモジュールの前記第1および第2の導管に流体結合される凝縮器であって、前記バッテリモジュールの前記第1および第2の導管から前記冷媒を受け取り、前記冷媒から熱エネルギーを抽出するように構成される、凝縮器と、
前記凝縮器に流体結合され、前記凝縮器から前記冷媒を受け取るように構成され、前記バッテリモジュールの前記第1および第2の導管にさらに流体結合され、前記凝縮器から前記第1および第2の導管に前記冷媒をポンピングするように構成される圧縮器と、
を備えることを特徴とするバッテリシステム。 - 前記バッテリモジュールの温度を示す第1の信号を発生させるように構成される温度センサと、
前記温度センサに動作可能に結合され、前記第1の信号が、前記バッテリモジュールの前記温度がしきい値温度レベルより高いことを示すとき、前記圧縮器に、前記凝縮器から前記バッテリモジュールの前記第1および第2の導管に前記冷媒をポンピングさせるための第2の信号を発生させるように構成されるマイクロプロセッサと、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバッテリシステム。 - 第1のバッテリセル、第1の冷却フィン、ならびに第1および第2の導管を有するバッテリモジュールであって、前記第1の冷却フィンが、第1のパネル部、ならびに、前記第1のパネル部の第1および第2の端部にそれぞれ配置される第1および第2のレール部を有し、前記第1のバッテリセルが前記第1のパネル部の第1の側面に隣接して配置され、前記第1および第2のレール部が前記第1のパネル部より大きな厚さを有し、前記第1の冷却フィンが、前記第1のバッテリセルを冷却するように前記第1のバッテリセルから前記第1の冷却フィンに熱エネルギーを伝導し、前記第1および第2の導管が、前記第1の冷却フィンの前記第1および第2のレール部をそれぞれ通って延在し、前記第1の冷却フィンから冷却剤に熱エネルギーを伝導するように、前記第1および第2の導管を通って流れる前記冷却剤を受け取る、バッテリモジュールと、
前記バッテリモジュールに流体結合される熱交換器であって、前記バッテリモジュールから前記冷却剤を内部に受け取り、流通する前記冷却剤から熱エネルギーを抽出するように構成される、熱交換器と、
前記熱交換器に流体結合される冷却板であって、流通する前記冷却剤から熱エネルギーを抽出するように構成される、冷却板と、
前記冷却板とポンプとの間に流体結合され、前記冷却板から前記冷却剤を受け取り、前記冷却剤を前記ポンプに経路設定するように構成される貯蔵器と、
を備え、前記ポンプが、前記バッテリモジュールの前記第1および第2の導管にさらに流体結合され、前記貯蔵器から前記第1および第2の導管に前記冷却剤をポンピングするように構成されることを特徴とするバッテリシステム。 - バッテリモジュールを冷却するための方法であって、前記バッテリモジュールが、バッテリセル、冷却フィン、ならびに第1および第2の導管を有し、前記冷却フィンが、パネル部、ならびに、前記パネル部の第1および第2の端部にそれぞれ配置される第1および第2のレール部を有し、前記バッテリセルが前記パネル部の第1の側面に隣接して配置され、前記第1および第2のレール部が前記パネル部より大きな厚さを有する、方法において、
前記バッテリセルを冷却するように、前記バッテリセルから、前記バッテリセルの第1の側面に配置される前記冷却フィンの前記パネル部に熱エネルギーを伝導するステップと、
前記パネル部から、前記冷却フィンの前記第1および第2のレール部に熱エネルギーを伝導するステップと、
前記第1および第2のレール部から、前記冷却フィンの前記第1および第2のレール部をそれぞれ通って延在する前記第1および第2の導管にそれぞれ熱エネルギーを伝導するステップと、
前記第1および第2の導管内に流体を受け取り、前記第1および第2の導管から前記流体に熱エネルギーを伝導するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記流体が冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 温度センサを利用して、前記バッテリモジュールの温度を示す第1の信号を発生させるステップと、
マイクロプロセッサを利用して、前記第1の信号が、前記バッテリモジュールの前記温度がしきい値温度レベルより高いことを示すとき、圧縮器に、前記第1および第2の導管を通して前記冷媒をポンピングさせるための第2の信号を発生させるステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記流体が冷却剤であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 温度センサを利用して、前記バッテリモジュールの温度を示す第1の信号を発生させるステップと、
マイクロプロセッサを利用して、前記第1の信号が、前記バッテリモジュールの前記温度がしきい値温度レベルより高いことを示すとき、ポンプに、前記第1および第2の導管を通して前記冷却剤をポンピングさせるための第2の信号を発生させるステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。 - 円筒形バッテリセルと、
管状部、および前記管状部に結合される積層箱形部を有する冷却フィンであって、前記管状部が、前記円筒形バッテリセルの一部を取り囲むように構成され、冷却フィンが、前記バッテリセルを冷却するように前記バッテリセルから冷却フィンに熱エネルギーを伝導する、冷却フィンと、
前記冷却フィンの前記積層箱形部を通って延在する導管であって、前記冷却フィンから流体に熱エネルギーを伝導するように、導管を通って流れる前記流体を受け取る、導管と、
を備えることを特徴とするバッテリモジュール。 - 前記冷却フィンが、熱伝導性材料から構成されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記導管が、熱伝導性材料から構成されることを請求項15に記載のバッテリモジュール。
