Abstract
Description
本出願は2009年03月17日に韓国特許庁に提出された韓国特許出願第10−2009−0022810号の出願日の利益を主張し、その内容の全ては本明細書に含まれる。
前記化学式2の化合物の例としては韓国特許公開第2003−0067773号に公示されている化合物を含み、前記化学式3の化合物の例としては米国特許第5,645,948号に記載された化合物とWO05/097756号に記載された化合物とを含む。前記文献はその内容の全てが本明細書に含まれる。
具体的には、前記化学式2の化合物には下記化学式4の化合物も含まれる:
また、前記化学式3の化合物には下記化学式5の化合物も含まれる:
基板上にIZOをスパッタリング方法により1000Å厚さの透明陽極(第1電極)を形成し、その上にHATを熱真空蒸着して厚さが500Åである正孔注入層を形成し、その上に下記化学式のNPBを真空蒸着して厚さが400Åである正孔輸送層を形成した。
また、その上に下記化学式の正孔遮断層材料であるBAlqを50Å厚さで形成した。
基板上にIZOをスパッタリング方法により1000Å厚さの透明陽極(第1電極)を形成し、その上にHATを熱真空蒸着して厚さ500Åである正孔注入層を形成し、その上に下記化学式のNPBを真空蒸着して厚さ400Åである正孔輸送層を形成した。
基板上にIZOをスパッタリング方法により1000Å厚さの透明陽極(第1電極)を形成し、その上にHATを熱真空蒸着して厚さが500Åである正孔注入層を形成し、その上に前記化学式のNPBを真空蒸着して厚さが400Åである正孔輸送層を形成した。
基板上にIZOをスパッタリング方法により1000Å厚さの透明陽極(第1電極)を形成し、その上にHATを構成せず、直ちに前記化学式のNPBを真空蒸着して、厚さが900Åである正孔輸送層を形成した。
また、前記化学式のCBPに前記化学式のIr(ppy)3を10重量%でドーピングし、ドーピングされた有機層で厚さ300Åの発光層を構成し、その上に正孔遮断層材料である前記化学式のBAlqを50Å厚さで形成した。
基板上にIZOをスパッタリング方法により1000Å厚さの透明陽極(第1電極)を形成し、その上にHATを熱真空蒸着して厚さが500Åである正孔注入層を形成し、その上に前記化学式のNPBを真空蒸着して厚さが400Åである正孔輸送層を形成した。
基板上にIZOをスパッタリング方法により1000Å厚さの透明陽極(第1電極)を形成し、その上にAgを200Å厚さで蒸着した。蒸着されたAg上にHATを熱真空蒸着して厚さが500Åである正孔注入層を形成し、その上に前記化学式のNPBを真空蒸着して厚さが400Åである正孔輸送層を形成した。
また、前記化学式のCBPに前記化学式のIr(ppy)3を10重量%でドーピングして厚さが300Åである発光層を構成し、その上に正孔遮断層材料であるBAlqを50Å厚さで形成した。
Claims (19)
- 第1電極;第2電極;および前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に位置する発光層を含む有機発光素子であって、
前記有機発光素子は前記第1電極と接する第1有機物層および前記第2電極と接する第2有機物層をさらに含み、
前記第1および第2有機物層は下記化学式1で示される化合物を含み、
前記第2電極に接する第2有機物層と発光層との間にn−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層を含むことを特徴とする有機発光素子:
- 前記第1および第2有機物層は同一の物質である、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記n−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層のn−型ドーパントは、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属、希土類金属、金属化合物、シクロペンタジエン、シクロヘプタトリエン、6員複素環およびこれらの環が含まれた縮合環を含む物質のうちから選択されたものを含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記n−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層中のn−型ドーパントの含量は1〜50重量%である、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記n−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層は、イミダゾール基、オキサゾール基およびチアゾール基から選択された官能基を有する化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記n−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層のLUMO(最低空分子軌道、Lowest unoccupied molecular orbital)準位は、前記第2電極に接する第2有機物層のLUMO準位とのエネルギー差が4eV以下である、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1有機物層と前記発光層との間に前記第1有機物層と接するp−型有機物層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記p−型有機物層のHOMO(最高被占分子軌道、highest occupied molecular orbital)準位が5eV以上である、請求項7に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極および前記第2電極は各々仕事関数が2eV〜6eVである物質を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極および前記第2電極は互いに同じであるか異なる金属酸化物からなる、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極および前記第2電極は同一の物質からなる、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極および前記第2電極のうちの少なくとも1つは透明物質を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極が陽極として下部電極であり、前記第2電極が陰極として上部電極である標準構造である、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極と前記第1電極に接する第1有機物層との界面に金属またはその合金の薄膜または金属酸化物層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第2電極に接する第2有機物層と前記n−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層との界面に金属酸化物層または金属塩層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 第1電極を形成するステップ;
前記第1電極と接し、下記化学式1の化合物を含む第1有機物層を形成するステップ;
前記第1有機物層上に発光層を形成するステップ;
前記発光層上にn−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層を形成するステップ;
前記第3有機物層上に下記化学式1の化合物を含む第2有機物層を形成するステップ;および
前記第2有機物層に接するように第2電極を形成するステップ;
を含む請求項1〜13のうちのいずれか1項による有機発光素子の製造方法:
- 前記第1有機物層と前記発光層との間に前記第1有機物層に接するp−型有機物層を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の有機発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記第1電極と前記第1電極に接する第1有機物層との界面に金属またはその合金の薄膜または金属酸化物層を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の有機発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記第2電極に接する第2有機物層と前記n−型ドーパントを含む第3有機物層との界面に金属酸化物層または金属塩層を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の有機発光素子の製造方法。
