Claims (20)

- 前記延長手段は、血液が前記区画の中へ流れるにつれて、目に見えるようにかつ徐々に血液で飽和状態になる吸収材料を備える、請求項1に記載の確認チャンバー。
- 前記延長手段は、前記確認チャンバーが接続される血管アクセスデバイスのカニューレの第2の内径よりも小さな第1の内径を有する口部または管を備える、請求項1に記載の確認チャンバー。
- 前記通気孔は、血液が前記フラッシュバック区画の中へ流れる速度を変えるように調節可能である、請求項1に記載の確認チャンバー。

- 前記フラッシュバック区画の前記内部容積は、約5立方センチメートルと約15立方センチメートルとの間である、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記延長手段は、遠回り管を備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。

空気に透過性があって血液に不透過性である通気孔、および、
アクティブな動脈フラッシュバック確認を延ばすための手段
を備える動脈フラッシュバック確認チャンバー、を準備すること、および
血液が該フラッシュバック区画の中へ流れるように、該カニューレおよびカテーテルを動脈の中へ挿入すること
を含む、方法。 - 前記動脈の中へ前記カニューレを挿入するように、ガイドワイヤーを用いること
をさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 血管外デバイスは、電子血液検出器をさらに備える、請求項16に記載の方法。
