Abstract
Description
(A)第一反応領域において、1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンを本発明のフッ素化触媒の存在下、気相中250〜450℃の温度でフッ化水素と反応させて、1,1,1,2‐テトラフルオロエタンおよび塩化水素を未反応出発物質と一緒に含む生成物混合物を生成し、
(B)ステップ(A)の全生成物混合物およびトリクロロエチレンと所望により更なるフッ化水素を、本発明のフッ素化触媒を含む第二反応領域へ運び、該第二反応領域において、気相中180〜350℃でトリクロロエチレンをフッ化水素と反応させて1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンを生成し、
(C)1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタン、1,1,1,2‐テトラフルオロエタンおよび塩化水素を含んでなる生成物混合物をステップ(B)から集め、
(D)1,1,1,2‐テトラフルオロエタンを回収し、かつ、ステップ(A)の第一反応領域へ運ぶために適した1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンを含んでなる組成物を生成するようにステップ(C)の生成物を処理し、
(E)ステップ(D)から得られた1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタン組成物を所望により更なるフッ化水素と一緒に該第一反応領域へ運び、そして
(F)ステップ(D)で回収した1,1,1,2‐テトラフルオロエタンを集める
ステップを含んでなる。
(A)第一反応器または複数の第一反応器において、本発明のクロム含有フッ素化触媒の存在下において気相中200〜350℃の温度でペルクロロエチレンをフッ化水素と反応させて、ジクロロトリフルオロエタン、塩化水素、未反応のフッ化水素およびペルクロロエチレン、組成物中有機化合物の総重量を基準として2重量%未満のクロロテトラフルオロエタンおよびペンタフルオロエタンならびに5重量%未満の式C2Cl6−xFxを有する化合物(xは0〜6の整数である)を含んでなる組成物を生成し、
(B)ステップ(A)からの組成物を分離ステップへ付して、組成物中の有機化合物の総重量を基準として、少なくとも95重量%のジクロロトリフルオロエタンおよび0.5重量%未満の式C2Cl6−xFxを有する化合物(xは0〜6の整数である)を含んでなる精製組成物を得て、そして
(C)第二反応器または複数の第二反応器において、本発明のクロム含有フッ素化触媒の存在下において気相中少なくとも280℃の温度でステップ(B)からの組成物をフッ化水素と反応させて、ペンタフルオロエタン、および組成物中の有機化合物の総重量を基準として0.5重量%未満のクロロペンタフルオロエタンを含んでなる組成物を生成する
ステップを含んでなる。
触媒調製
触媒サンプル(触媒A)を次のように1トン/日スケールで製造した。
生成した触媒をサンプリングし、透過型電子顕微鏡を用いてエネルギー分散型X線分析(EDAX)により触媒サンプルの表面全域における亜鉛分布を測定した。
触媒Aを用いて、1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンとHFとの反応を触媒して1,1,1,2‐テトラフルオロエタンを生成し、使用による触媒活性の低下を測定することによりその安定性を調べた。触媒試験装置は単一のInconel製の反応器チューブを備えていた。
触媒調製
触媒Aを調製するために上記されたものと同様の手順を用いて触媒サンプル(触媒B)を1トンスケールで製造したが、但し静的ミキサーを硝酸クロム/硝酸亜鉛供給ライン内へ設置し、最終触媒の亜鉛分布を改善するためにジェットミキサーを用いて、合わせた供給物を沈殿タンクへ注入した。
得られた触媒をサンプリングし、触媒の表面全域における亜鉛分布を前記のように調べた。触媒Bの典型的サンプルに関する亜鉛分布を図2に示す。
触媒Bを用いて1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンとHFとの反応を触媒し、その安定性を触媒Aに関して上記したように調べた。
Claims (36)
- ある量の亜鉛を含んでなるクロム含有フッ素化触媒であって、前記亜鉛が、最大直径が1ミクロン以下の大きさを有する凝集物に含まれ、前記凝集物が触媒の少なくとも表面領域全体に分布し、ここで前記亜鉛含有凝集物の40重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±1重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物の50重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±1重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物の60重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±1重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物の70重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±1重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物の80重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±2重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物の85重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±2重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物の90重量%以上が、前記亜鉛含有凝集物中における亜鉛の最頻濃度の±2重量%以内の濃度の亜鉛を含有している、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒表面の各平方ミリメートルまたは前記触媒バルクの各平方ミリメートルにおける前記亜鉛含有凝集物の数が、前記触媒表面または前記触媒バルクの平方ミリメートル当たりにおける前記亜鉛含有凝集物の平均数の±2%以内である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物が前記触媒バルクの全体にわたって分布している、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛含有凝集物が20nm〜1ミクロンの範囲の大きさを有している、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒が、クロミア、フッ化クロム(III)、フッ素化クロミアおよびオキシフッ化クロム(III)からなる群より選択される1種以上のクロム(III)化合物を含んでなる、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒がか焼プロセスに付されたものである、請求項11に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒がか焼プロセスに付され、その後続けてフッ素化されたものである、請求項11に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒がか焼プロセスに付され、その後続けてフッ化水素で処理されたものである、請求項13に記載の触媒。
- 前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの92.0〜100重量%がクロム(III)として存在している、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 1種以上のクロム(VI)化合物を更に含んでなり、前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの0.1〜8.0重量%がクロム(VI)として存在している、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの92.0〜99.9重量%がクロム(III)として存在している、請求項16に記載の触媒。
- 1種以上のクロム(VI)化合物を更に含んでなり、前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの0.1〜6.0重量%がクロム(VI)として存在している、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの94.0〜99.9重量%がクロム(III)として存在している、請求項18に記載の触媒。
- 1種以上のクロム(VI)化合物を更に含んでなり、前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの0.5〜4.0重量%がクロム(VI)として存在している、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの96.0〜99.5重量%がクロム(III)として存在している、請求項20に記載の触媒。
- 1種以上のクロム(VI)化合物を更に含んでなり、前記クロムの総重量を基準として、触媒中のクロムの1.0〜2.0重量%がクロム(VI)として存在している、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記クロムの総重量を基準として、前記触媒中のクロムの98.0〜99.0重量%がクロム(III)として存在している、請求項22に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛が、前記触媒の総重量を基準として、0.5〜25.0重量%の量で前記触媒中に存在している、請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛が、前記触媒の総重量を基準として、0.5〜10.0重量%の量で前記触媒中に存在している、請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記亜鉛が、前記触媒の総重量を基準として、1.0〜6.0重量%の量で前記触媒中に存在している、請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒が非晶質である、請求項1〜26のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒が部分的に結晶質で、0.4〜5重量%の1種以上のクロムの結晶化合物および/または1種以上の亜鉛の結晶化合物を含有している、請求項1〜26のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒の表面積が20〜300m2/gの範囲である、請求項1〜28のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒の表面積が100〜250m2/gの範囲である、請求項1〜28のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- 前記触媒の表面積が180〜220m2/gの範囲である、請求項1〜28のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
- フッ素化炭化水素を製造する方法であって、請求項1〜31のいずれか一項で記載されているようなフッ素化触媒の存在下において、気相中高温で炭化水素またはハロゲン化炭化水素をフッ化水素と反応させることを含んでなる、方法。
- 1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンが前記触媒の存在下でフッ化水素と反応して、1,1,1,2‐テトラフルオロエタンを生成する、請求項32に記載の方法。
- トリクロロエチレンが前記触媒の存在下でフッ化水素と反応して、1‐クロロ‐2,2,2‐トリフルオロエタンを生成する、請求項32に記載の方法。
- ジクロロトリフルオロエタンが前記触媒の存在下でフッ化水素と反応して、ペンタフルオロエタンを生成する、請求項32に記載の方法。
- ペルクロロエチレンが、前記触媒の存在下でフッ化水素と反応して、ジクロロトリフルオロエタン、クロロテトラフルオロエタンおよび/またはペンタフルオロエタンを生成する、請求項32に記載の方法。
