Abstract
【解決手段】厚さが、50〜150μmのポリエステル系樹脂から形成される支持体、及び、前記支持体の少なくとも片面に粘着剤層が形成されることを特徴とする薄層基材用キャリア材。

Description
<アクリル系ポリマー(A)の調整>
攪拌羽根、温度計、窒素ガス導入管、冷却器を備えた四つロフラスコに、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート200重量部、2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート8重量部、重合開始剤として2,2’−アゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.4重量部、酢酸エチル312重量部を仕込み、緩やかに攪拌しながら窒素ガスを導入し、フラスコ内の液温を65℃付近に保って約6時間重合反応を行い、アクリル系ポリマー(A)溶液(40重量%)を調製した。前記アクリル系ポリマー(A)の重量平均分子量は50万、ガラス転移温度(Tg)は−68℃であった。
上記アクリル系ポリマー(A)溶液(40重量%)を酢酸エチルで20重量%に希釈し、この溶液のアクリルポリマー100重量部(固形分)に対して、架橋剤としてポリイソシアネート(日本ポリウレタン工業社製、コロネートHX)4.0重量部、架橋触媒としてジラウリン酸ジブチルスズ(1重量%酢酸エチル溶液)0.02重量部を加えて、25℃付近に保って約1分間混合撹拌を行い、アクリル系粘着剤溶液(1)を調製した。
上記アクリル系粘着剤溶液(1)を、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)基材(厚さ75μm、支持体)の片面に塗布し、110℃で3分間加熱して、厚さ15μmの粘着剤層を形成した。次いで、前記粘着剤層の表面に、片面にシリコーン処理を施したPET剥離ライナー(厚さ25μm)のシリコーン処理面を貼合せ、薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
PET基材の厚さを100μmにして使用したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
PET基材の厚さを125μmにして使用したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
PET基材の厚さを38μmにして使用したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
PET基材の代わりに、ポリエチレン(PE)基材(厚さ75μm、愛知プラスチック工業社製、ANE−75)を使用したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
<ゴム系粘着剤溶液の調整>
天然ゴム系グラフトポリマー(ASIATIC DEVELPOMENT BHD製、MEGAPOLY 30)100重量部、脂肪族系粘着付与剤(日本ゼオン社製、クイントンA-100)35重量部、架橋剤としてポリイソシアネート(ポリウレタン工業社製、ミリオネートMR−200S)4.0重量部を容器に投入し、トルエンにて、10重量%に希釈し、25℃付近に保って約20分間混合撹拌を行い、ゴム系粘着剤溶液(2)を調製した。
上記ゴム系粘着剤溶液(2)を、ポリエチレン(PE)基材(厚さ75μm、愛知プラスチック工業社製、ANE−75)の片面に塗布し、80℃で2分間加熱して、厚さ10μmの粘着剤層を形成した。次いで、前記粘着剤層の表面に、片面にシリコーン処理を施したPET剥離ライナー(厚さ25μm)のシリコーン処理面を貼合せ、薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
<下塗り剤の原料溶液の調整>
天然ゴム(国際規格RSS-3型)をトルエンで20重量%に希釈し、25℃付近に保って約20時間混合撹拌を行い、下塗り剤の原料溶液(20重量%)を調製した。
前記下塗り剤の原料溶液(20重量%)をトルエンにて0.5重量%に希釈し、この溶液の天然ゴム(国際規格RSS-3型)100重量部(固形分換算)に対して、ポリイソシアネート(日本ポリウレタン工業社製、コロネートL)75重量部(固形分換算)を加えて、25℃付近に保って約1分間混合撹拌を行い、下塗り剤を調製した。
PET基材(厚さ125μm)の片面に、前記下塗り剤を塗布し、80℃で1分間加熱して、厚さ0.4μmの下塗り剤層を形成した。その後、下塗り剤層上に、比較例3と同様のゴム系粘着剤溶液(2)を塗布し、80℃で2分間加熱して、厚さ3μmのゴム系の粘着剤層を形成した。次いで、前記粘着剤層の表面に、片面にシリコーン処理を施したPET剥離ライナー(厚さ25μm)のシリコーン処理面を貼合せ、薄層基材用キャリア材を作製した。
作製したポリマーの重量平均分子量は、GPC(ゲル・パーミエーション・クロマトグラフィー)により測定した。
カラム:
サンプルカラム;東ソー社製、TSKguardcolumn Super HZ−H(1本)+TSKgel Super HZM−H(2本)
リファレンスカラム;東ソー社製、TSKgel Super H−RC(1本)
流量:0.6ml/分
注入量:10μl
カラム温度:40℃
溶離液:THF
注入資料農奴:0.2重量%
検出器:示差屈折計
なお、重量平均分子量はポリスチレン換算により算出した。
ガラス転移温度Tg(℃)は、各モノマーによるホモポリマーのガラス転移温度Tgn(℃)として下記の文献値を用い、下記の式により求めた。
(式中、Tg(℃)は共重合体のガラス転移温度、Wn(−)は各モノマーの重量分率、Tgn(℃)は各モノマーによるホモポリマーのガラス転移温度、nは各モノマーの種類を表す。)
2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート:−70℃
2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート:−15℃
ブチルアクリレート:−55℃
アクリル酸:106℃
なお、文献値として「アクリル樹脂の合成・設計と新用途開発」(中央経営開発センター出版部発行)を参照した。
以下の方法で測定した。すなわち、支持体を長手方向(MD)に沿って、短冊状の試験片(MD試験片)を切り出し、JIS K7127(1999)に準拠して、前記試験片の破壊時の引張応力、及び、チャック間距離を以下の条件で測定した。
測定温度23℃ (23℃×50%RHの条件下に、前記試験片を30分以上保持した後に測定を開始した。)
試験片の幅10mm
引張速度300mm/m
チャック間距離50mm
異なる箇所から切り出した3つの試験片を用いて、前記測定を行い(すなわちn=3)、それらの平均値をMDの破断強度(N/10mm)とした。
また、支持体の幅方向(TD、すなわち前記MDと直交する方向)に沿って、短冊状の試験片(TD試験片)を切り出し、MD試験片と同様にして破断強度を測定した。異なる箇所から切り出した3つの試験片を用いて上記測定を行い、それらの平均値をTDの破断強度(N/10mm)とした。
[初期粘着力]
被着体として、幅70mm 、長さ100mmのアクリル板(三菱レイヨン社製、アクリライト)を用意した。薄層基材用キャリア材(粘着シート)を剥離ライナーごとに、幅25mm 、長さ100mmのサイズにカットし、前記剥離ライナーを除去して、粘着面を露出させた。その粘着面を、上記アクリル板にそれぞれ線圧78.5N/cm、0.3m/minの速度で圧着した。これを23℃×50%RHの環境下に30分間放置した後、同環境下で万能引張試験機を用いて剥離速度0.3m/min、剥離角度180°の条件で、アクリル板から薄層基材用キャリア材を剥離し、このときの剥離力を初期粘着力として評価した。
被着体として、幅70mm 、長さ100mmのアクリル板(三菱レイヨン社製、アクリライト)を用意した。薄層基材用キャリア材(粘着シート)を剥離ライナーごとに、幅25mm 、長さ100mmのサイズにカットし、前記剥離ライナーを除去して、粘着面を露出させた。その粘着面を、上記アクリル板にそれぞれ圧力0.25MPa、0.3m/minの速度で圧着した。これを50℃の環境下に48時間放置した後、23℃×50%RHの環境下に30分間放置した。その後、万能引張試験機(ミネベア(株)社製、引張圧縮試験機)を用いて剥離速度0.3m/min、剥離角度180°の条件で、アクリル板から薄層基材用キャリア材を剥離し、このときの剥離力を経日粘着力として評価した。
厚さが約25μmのITOフィルム(薄層基材:厚さ25μmのPET基材上に極薄のITO層を形成した。)に、実施例および比較例の薄層基材用キャリア材(粘着シート)を貼り付けた。薄層基材用キャリア材(粘着シート)の上面に、ITOフィルムが貼り付けられた状態で、150℃×60min保持した後、室温(23℃)に戻した後に、目視にて、ITOフィルムを観察し、ITOフィルムにカールがないものを○、あるものを×とした。なお、ITOフィルムが貼り付けられた状態について、図1に示した(一例)。

Claims (6)
- 厚さが、50〜150μmのポリエステル系樹脂から形成される支持体、及び、前記支持体の少なくとも片面に粘着剤層が形成されることを特徴とする薄層基材用キャリア材。
- 前記支持体の第1の方向における破断強度、及び、前記第1の方向と垂直に交わる第2の方向における破断強度の合計が、300〜700N/10mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の薄層基材用キャリア材。
- 前記粘着剤層の初期粘着力(23℃×30分後)が、0.5N/25mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の薄層基材用キャリア材。
- 前記支持体が、ポリエチレンテレフタレートを含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の薄層基材用キャリア材。
- 前記薄層基材が、樹脂フィルムであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の薄層基材用キャリア材。
- 前記薄層基材が、光学デバイス用基材であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の薄層基材用キャリア材。
