本発明の電解液は、ビニレンカーボネートやビニルエチレンカーボネートなどの不飽和環状カーボネートを電解液に対して3体積%以下の量で含むものであってもよく、0.1体積%以上含むものであってもよい。

成分(I−1)として4−(2,2,3,3−テトラフルオロプロポキシメチル)−(1,3)−ジオキソラン−2−オン、成分(I−2)としてエチレンカーボネート、成分(I−3)としてジメチルカーボネートを3/30/67体積%比となるように混合し、この電解質塩溶解用溶媒にさらに電解質塩としてLiPF6を1.0モル/リットルの濃度となるように加え、25℃にて充分に撹拌し本発明の非水電解液を調製した。
LiNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2とカーボンブラックとポリフッ化ビニリデン(呉羽化学(株)製、商品名KF−7200)を92/3/5(質量%比)で混合した正極活物質をN−メチル−2−ピロリドンに分散してスラリー状とした正極合剤スラリーを準備した。アルミ集電体上に、得られた正極合剤スラリーを均一に塗布し、乾燥して正極合剤層(厚さ50μm)を形成し、その後、ローラプレス機により圧縮成形して、正極積層体を製造した。正極積層体を打ち抜き機で直径1.6mmの大きさに打ち抜き、円状の正極を作製した。
コイン型リチウム二次電池について、つぎの要領で高電圧でのサイクル特性と低温負荷特性を調べた。
充電:0.5C、4.4Vにて充電電流が1/10Cになるまでを保持(CC・CV充電)
放電:0.5C 3.0Vcut(CC放電)
サイクル特性については、温度を60℃に設定し上記の充放電条件(1.0Cで所定の電圧にて充電電流が1/10Cになるまで充電し1C相当の電流で3.0Vまで放電する)で行う充放電サイクルを1サイクルとし、5サイクル後の放電容量と100サイクル後の放電容量を測定する。サイクル特性は、つぎの計算式で求められた値を容量維持率の値とする。その結果を表1に示す。
低温負荷特性については上記の充電条件で充電しその電池を−20℃の恒温槽に入れ2時間放置して上記の放電条件で放電容量を調べた。評価は、比較例1の放電容量の結果を100とした指数で行う。
実施例1と同様にして、成分(I−1)、成分(I−2)、成分(I−3)を表1に示す種類と量を用いて本発明の非水電解液を調製し実施例1と同様にして電池を作製し試験を行った。
成分(I−2)としてエチレンカーボネート、成分(I−3)ジメチルカーボネートを30/70体積%比となるように混合し、この電解質塩溶解用溶媒にさらに電解質塩としてLiPF6を1.0モル/リットルの濃度となるように加え、25℃にて充分に撹拌し本発明の非水電解液を調製し実施例1と同様にして電池を作製し試験を行った。
実施例1と同様にして、成分(I−1)、成分(I−2)、成分(I−3)、成分(I−4)を表2〜4に示す種類と量を用いて本発明の非水電解液を調製し実施例1と同様にして電池を作製し試験を行った。
正極活物質をLiFePO4にし、充電終止電圧を3.6Vにしたほかは実施例1と同様の手順でおこなった。
正極活物質をLiMnO2にし、充電終止電圧を4.3Vにしたほかは実施例1と同様の手順でおこなった。

- 鎖状カーボネート(I−3)を含む請求項1又は2記載の電解液。
- 環状カーボネート(I−1)、環状カーボネート(I−2)及び鎖状カーボネート(I−3)の体積比が0.5〜8.0/10.0〜92.0/0〜89.5である請求項3記載の電解液。
- 式(I−1)におけるRが式(Ic−1):
R20−R21− (Ic−1)
(式中、R20はフッ素原子を有していてもよい炭素数1以上のアルキル基;R21はフッ素原子を有していてもよい炭素数1〜3のアルキレン基;ただし、R20およびR21の少なくとも一方はフッ素原子を有している)で示される含フッ素アルキル基である請求項1、2、3又は4記載の電解液。 - 式(I−1)におけるRのフッ素含有率が10〜76質量%である請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6記載の電解液。
- 環状カーボネート(I−2)は、エチレンカーボネート、プロピレンカーボネート、フルオロエチレンカーボネート及び、ビニレンカーボネートからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の環状カーボネートである請求項1、2、3、4、5、6又は7記載の電解液。
